Breakfast was very good

WiFi did not work, Tv did not work, carpet was very worn, dated property overall. Breakfast is in shifts with other guests and if someone arrives before you and chooses the time you need, you either wait till later or go without. Hosts were very nice but for what we paid another property’s would have been better. We needed to leave early on our second day and stopped for breakfast elsewhere- kinda defeats the purpose of a B&B.Quaint little town with beautiful Falls. Make sure you book reservations for dinner ahead of time. For what it is worth, I did feel safe at the property.

The breakfast was great. Our host was sweet and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was great.

The bedroom and bathroom were dirty, there were hairs in the bed and on the toilet. The carpets were sticky as you walked on them. The breakfast was under cooked and the place looked generally tired. The couple that run it were lovely but unfortunately it made my daughter’s 18th birthday trip disappointing. Definitely not worth the money.

Value for money, lovely hosts, delicious breakfast. Will be back.

I had a lovely one night stay at Lochleven B&B. I arrived late after a long drive to a warm welcome from Margaret. My twin room was really comfortable with great touches like a bathrobe, cafetière and good selection of teas. The large bathroom is across the hall but private to your room, wasn’t a problem at all. The bath was great for relaxing in after a long day. There is no TV in the room however there’s a small sitting room just next door if you did want to watch television. I had a really comfortable sleep, and an excellent breakfast the next day. Margaret and Frank were very friendly hosts and I would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

Small b&b run by a wonderful couple. Old property but the two rooms are nicely upgraded and comfortable. Off street parking at the rear. Lovely breakfast served to order at the time you request the night before. Walking distance to restaurants and the Falls of Dochart.

Una notte in questo posto di passaggio. Senza pretese, ma molto comodo e piuttosto economico. Bella esperienza, autentica ed informale. Apprezzatissima la colazione tipica scozzese nella sala dedicata. Parcheggio riservato. Proprietari ospitali ma non invadenti.

The host and hostess were wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. Felt like home.

I was very comfortable. The provision of fresh coffee on the tea tray was especially appreciated. Breakfast was excellent.

Welcoming host who kindly left breakfast provisions for us as we had to leave early. Real coffee with plunger and fresh milk in the room which was a bonus.

Great place to stay, clean, very friendly helpfull hosts with a perfect breakfast and located in the centre of the village.

Wonderful place. The hosts cannot do enough for you. The room had a very comprehensive guide to all facilities in the area and there were several good places to eat nearby (3 doors up the street) Breakfast was excellent and we will stop there again when in the area.

Quaint old property in a great location. Our room had the bathroom down the hall and was only for us - not shared. There is not a standup shower, just a tub with a shower attachment, but it was fine. There are only 2 rooms for guests. The other one has an ensuite bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. The information binder in the room was very helpful, with suggestions on local restaurants, things to do in Killin and also the surrounding areas.

Frank and Margaret were perfect hosts and this B&B suited our needs perfectly. So many things are walk-able in this interesting little village so steeped in history. I didn't mind that the bathroom was not en-suite, but we did not have to share it. We were served a perfect Scottish breakfast on the most beautiful table that our hosts had custom made right after getting married and being a woodworker I was quick to spot it's uniqueness. Margaret made some good suggestions for hiking and as we left the village we wished we had stayed longer.
