What an absolute gem of a hotel. The lobby has some fantastic art. The room was immaculate. I had a double queen room for my daughter and I, we both agreed that the mattresses were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever stayed in. There’s a small public park next door that had roosters strutting around, awesome. This is an owner/operator hotel, and you can feel the difference. They care about this place. Every staff member was warm and inviting. 15 minute walk to Kaseya Center, 15 minute drive to South Beach. There’s an on-site parking lot with designated spots for the hotel. I don’t ever write reviews, but this place more than earned it.

Great place and historic I loved itttt

Äußerlich unscheinbar aber im Inneren ein sehr schönes, stylisches Hotel in optisch eher bescheidener Lage. In der an die 50er/60er Jahre erinnernden Lobby ein wunderbarer Duft, alles wirkt sehr sauber. Die Zimmer haben alle einen Namen, sind groß, komfortabel und ebenfalls im Retro Look. Man benötigt allerdings einen 5-stelligen Zahlencode, um die Tür zu öffnen und dies hat beim Einchecken leider mehr als eine halbe Stunde gedauert. Das inbegriffene Frühstück war auch eher ein Scherz, es gibt gar keinen Frühstücksraum. Kaffee, Müsli, etwas Obst und ein paar andere Kleinigkeiten werden auf einem Tisch angeboten, essen ist dann aber im Zimmer angesagt. Leider gibt es auch keinen Föhn, dafür ist kostenloses Parken auf dem Parkplatz nebenan möglich und das Personal sehr nett.

Beautiful artwork and creativity

Hotel was beautiful, the decor was fascinating, the bed was super comfy, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. My one problem in the accessible room was the shower. There were no spaces either in or directly adjacent to the shower where toiletries could be easily reached. They had to be placed on the floor. There was also no towel bar. I had to leave the shower area and cross to the sink area to access dry towels.

Best property I've been to in a long time! Absolute superb service on my check-in and check-out. Super comfortable bed (a shocker and lovely surprise!), clean room, and lovely history throughout the entire hotel. I had the Ella Fitzgerald room and it was lovely. Can't wait to be back!

I love it

Neat little place, not what I expected. Enjoyed the history. Downtown shopping center nearby which was awesome. Very friendly staff. Like others…tv is small and far away for my liking but overall it was great.

The manager was amazingly accommodating and I just felt comfortable here

If you like to stay in a ghetto area this will be it….. this place is not what it seems or sound online. Deity sheets that rooms smell horrible. Also doors don’t lock properly. Not to mention everyone knows that code to your room. I complained to the front staff and she moved me to another room. The situation was the same. Bed was dirty and it smelled bad. She “cleaned” the room after i complained again and pretty much just used air freshener and changed that sheets. The beds are also broken. After all of this I was refuse a full refund. Not even a partial refund was offered. I wouldn’t recommend this place even to my worst enemy.

Staff was very helpful when we did not know at all where to go around Miami. Only one and a half miles from Wynwood which was fun

Lady at the front desk (think she is the owner) was so nice and helpful. Themed rooms were really cool and bed was so comfortable. Location is close to downtown , Wynwood public transportation. Next time we are in Miami we will be back

I had a great time and got some well deserved quiet rest. Great location for travel around the city 5 minutes walking from the train station.
