The location of the property is very handy and the staff also friendly and helpful. Having a pub and restaurant attached is a bonus though the Premier Group appear to be having issues attracting chefs as the menu was limited. The rooms are dated and in desperate need of some TLC. The amount of litter scattered around the outside and the boundaries of the property show a true lack of caring. There appears to be a lack of pride in general and was rejected in both properties we stayed at, and I wouldn't consider either as cheap.

My room was 80° my entire stay which was difficult to handle, even with the fan. Also, the bathtub siding is very high and there is no grip in the tub so I slipped while trying to get out of it.

Nicht länger als 1-2 Nächte. Wirkt auch alles schmuddelig und einfach nicht gut instand gehalten. Günstige Lage, preislich für das was geboten war zu teuer.

The room had a strange smell to it and it could have been cleaner. Wifi was said to be provided but didn’t work but you could access reasonable wifi by paying more …. I find that wild. The actual sheet on the bed was a mattress protector with no actual fitted sheet …. I asked about this at the front desk and they said this was standard … the quality of the property didn’t match what we paid

We were very impressed with the hotel amenities, cleanliness and very helpful staff. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and they were both delicious and had lots of options.

Wonderful staff, great restaurant attached to hotel. Next to gas station and fast food. Outside along parking lots had a lot of litter. Overall great for a what I needed.

Bij aankomst geen parkeerplaats, voor nood maar verderop bij Mac Donalds de auto neer gezet. Restaurant dicht dus geen avondeten te krijgen Kamers warm, 24 graden bij aankomst, geen ventilatie alleen een schuif raam wat 5 cm open kon Om 23.00 kwam er nog even een vrachtwagen van Elis wasgoed laden en lossen op de parkeerplaats onder onze kamer ramen dat duurde drie kwartier en ging niet zachtjes. Ik raad de hotel zeker niet aan.

Avoid this hotel if cleanliness is important to you. We stayed at The premier inn Edinburgh (South Queensferry) for two nights. During our stay, we discovered what appeared to be extensive mould in our room. Our young daughter had already touched and played with the affected area before we realized what it was, which left us genuinely concerned about potential health risks. What disappointed us even more was how the issue was handled. When I reported it to the front desk, I was told, "Just wipe it off, you'll be fine." I then asked whether she would like to see the photos I had taken, and her response was simply, "No." There was no apparent concern, no effort to inspect the room immediately, and no interest in reviewing the evidence. This is not the level of cleanliness or customer service I expect from a Premier Inn property. Visible mould should be treated as a serious maintenance and guest safety issue, not dismissed with a suggestion to wipe it away. I have since escalated the matter directly to City of Edinburgh Council, Premier inn guest service office and provided photographs. I sincerely hope the hotel conducts a thorough inspection and addresses the issue before other guests, especially families with young children, are placed in the same situation. Based on my experience, stay away from this property.

Camera pulita, arredo essenziale, ottimo parcheggio, personale gentile.

Mäßiges Hotel. Das Personal war hilfreich und freundlich, die Rezeption immer besetzt und das Check in/ out unkompliziert sowie zu angenehmen Zeiten möglich. Flur und Zimmer rochen leider muffig, wir vermuten aufgrund des alten Teppichs. Da half auch alles lüften nichts. Im Bad leider kein Fenster und auch unangenehmer Geruch. Als Basislager für Tagestrips rund um Edinburgh war es für uns ausreichend, da wir sowieso nur wenig Zeit im Zimmer verbrachten. Würden es nicht erneut buchen. Frühstück kann im Restaurant nebenan bequem spontan dazu gebucht werden, für den Preis beim kontinentalen Frühstück aber wenig Auswahl (kein Käse o. Wurst, kein Gemüse). Das "Cooked Breakfast" ist so wie man es in GB erwartet.

Decent hotel with friendly staff. Parking lot was very full but we managed to get parking for both nights & so many fire doors which made it difficult bringing our luggage and baby gear in. But overall good for amount spent.

Avoid rooms over kitchen in summer due to odour and heat. First night was bad, we asked for a change next morning- staff accommodated our request and all was good thereafter.

Avoid rooms located above the kitchen in summer when you have to keep the windows open - room can get hot and smelly. Access to breakfast room from Gr Floor is from outside the building. Breakfast is fab!! Staff v helpful. More than adequate parking.

The room was clean. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

This was a great hotel to stay at when we needed to fly out of Edinburgh airport the next morning. Clean and comfortable!

No airport shuttle.

No airconditioning, fan supplied. Full breakfast changed to continental, no food/dinner and no access to bar. I had trouble sleeping as the fan noise kept me awake. No phone in room and so early morning wake up call. I had to get up at 3.45 am and my request that someone knock in my door was declined due to it disturbing other guests. Hair dryer was on the way out. What was good was the size of the room, the bed and parking. I spent most of the evening at McDonald’s next door drinking cold drinks and the air conditioning. This was day two of a heatwave on 24 June. I chose the hotel as it was close to the airport but if I’d known about no food and no airconditioning I would not have stayed there.
