Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by friendly member of staff .

Dirty. Dead bugs everywhere including the bed! Dirty bathroom. Overall a very bad trip! If I wasn’t there for work I would have left 5 minutes after being shown my room!

lovely rooms, spacious and plenty of storage and a fridge. Good restaurant and good menu, reasonably priced. Nice seating areas to front and rear including a pizza oven. Breakfast was good, though you had to order the previous night, so you are stuck with what you ordered no matter what kind of night you have!

Just got back from a lovely overnight stay at The Mughouse …enjoyable stay from beginning to end..also had the Sunday lunch.. all I can say is amazing

Really friendly welcome, loved the room great view of the river and the ducks! Had the Katsu burger and it was amazing!!

Lovely people. Dog friendly. Dogs lane car park is close for parking. The room was big and cosy but noisy. Breakfast was great and the setting lovely even in the winter.

Although the Staff compensated with complimentary breakfast each day, for the fact our room was dirty and needed a good clean,our overall view of the Mughhouse accommodation was tired,dirty and dated,the room was not serviced during our stay either. The staff are really friendly,but the owner needs to sort out the decor etc of his establishment,and also his attitude and the way he speaks and treats his staff

Had a lovely one night stay in cottage 3. Room was clean and quite with lovely views. Only thing missing was a curtain/blind for the small bathroom window but other than that perfect. Will definitely stay again.
