Location, clean room, staff

This apartment is super old; the furniture is actually breaking and everything is covered in dust. I offered housekeeping a tip to clean and vacuum the room, but they got furious and told me to find another place to stay. To make matters worse, the two elderly men at reception do nothing but scream. They don't speak English and refuse to even look at my phone for translations or drawings, which I used to try and ask for basic things like towels and toilet paper. They are extremely rude and hostile. Also, make sure to bring plenty of insect repellent and bug spray. The place has a severe infestation of mosquitoes and flies; they flood both the bedroom and the living room. You have to constantly spray the areas and chase them around to kill them all day if you don't want to end up being eaten alive by insects at night

Geweldig appartement in rustige buurt op loopafstand van de tram die je in 20 minuten naar het centrum brengt voor 80 cent per rit, af te rekenen met betaalpas. Appartement is volledig ingericht met balkon overdekt. Parkeer optie in de kelder voor 10 euro per nacht. (2026)

Felt like home. Perfectly maintained, clean, spacious.. customer service better than 5* hotels I’ve stayed in Sof.

We chose this location because of its proximity with Mt. Vitosha that we wanted to hike on. The apparthotel complex is very modern and functional. Inside we had a big living room with 2 sofas and everything for kitchen. There is a huge frige. The bedroom was nice and the beds comfortable.Everything squeaky clean. The bathroom is large and has a bathtub. Underground parking is available, but it not included in the rate and is quite expensive. The aparthotel is located in a socialist-style high-rise residential neighbourhood, with narrow and potholed street, but we found a free parking place, albeit with difficulty.

Overall good,amazing friendly and welcoming staff-good communication. Spacious rooms ,not very clean,furniture is a bit outdated. Underground parking is paid,but other people park their cars on your spot and you have to park on different one,which is problem for the person using it-good site is that you be provided with remote control for entrance to the car park,which is really convenient.

It is worths what you pay for

The apaprtment is a bit outside city center. Very spacious, the balcony was generous as well. There is a washing machine that functions very well. Only thing to be improved is cleanlines in the kitchen and it would be good if we had a fly swatter for a couple of flies from outside. The gentleman at reception was very nice and helpful. No problem with communication. The Billa supermarket is close by, a large mall with clothing and food court. We enjoyed being there.

The apartment was of a good standard, and the pool option was a bonus (not too expensive), but the apartment was a long way out of the city and every day required taxis, which was a worry at the end of each opera, and meant I was scammed twice by Yellow Taxi drivers

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Apartments are large, clean and pretty well equipped. Location is ok, with the center about 12 minutes away, by taxi, wich we paid about 3.5 euro for. Bulgaria Mall and metro stop only 5 minutes away by feet. Numerous grocery stores and restaurants in the area (recommend Djanam Steak House. Best steak I found in Bulgaria so far. A bit pricey but wonderful food and service) I can't recommend this hotel enough. Big thumbs up.
