The room was awesome, clean but a bit warm. The staff all were professional and very helpful, always with a great sense of humour.

The room was spotless and well decorated. It was spacious with lots of storage. The bed was large comfortable and linen was changed everyday. The hotel is beautiful with a restaurant, bar, coffee bar and veranda all decorated in a victorian theme. The view across the harbour to the Abbey is breathtaking. The staff are attentive and accomodating, very polite and well presented. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and i would highly recommend that people stay here.

Enjoyed another stay at the Royal this time it was Valentines weekend much appreciated from the staff for arranging a bouquet of Roses nd bottle of bubbles to make it that bit extra special .. thankyou again nd see you again soon Nigel & Claire

The room was very clean and very tidy. It looks like they are renovating a lot and it looks great. Many thanks to everyone for a nice break.

Room so clean. Brand new and spot on. Four poster bed and the best view I have ever seen.

The room and bathroom were fab. Loved the breakfast too. Reception staff were great. Check in and out was very easy and our packed lunches were ready.

Great stay,room spotless and the staff were very nice. Only thing I could mention is that they could provide bigger plates in the breakfast room,not much bigger than a saucer. Other than that it was a great stay.

Yes ok but when central heating didn't work oil filled radiators provided that surfised and service was excellent breakfast was good
