Staff were friendly and helpful. Our Room could use some general maintenance .

Bedrooms are very dated, dirty carpets, plug in sink didnt work. Seagul tapping on bedroom window all night for the 2 nights I stayed. Downstairs much nicer and breakfast was ok. Staff were very nice.

The original room we were offered was dirty with a badly stained carpet and dirty pipework in the bathroom. The walls were dirty with peeling paint and the mattress had very little support left in it. We complained about this room and were moved to another room (the only alternative available which had 2 single beds - not what we had reserved but the only acceptable alternative). This room did have a clean carpet which was newer and better / newer mattresses. The bathroom was very dated and there was very little water pressure in the shower. The hotel was not cheap and therefore our expectations were higher than this for the price point.

The hotel is beginning to show its age as you would expect but it was well maintained and the bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean. There was also plenty of milk for brews in the room. We didn't eat or drink in the bar so cannot comment on that.

I was disappointed with the room booked a double room got a double bed in a single room you could not walk around the bed only there one night so didnt make a fuss but be ware

Single traveller stayed for one night. Good points are, it has good free WiFi, and it is possible to park behind the hotel. Bed was comfortable, and I had a sea view. Its about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. Bad points are the hotel needs alot of updating. The bathroom in my room was avocado, so straight out of the 70s. There were a few marks on the walls too, so a repaint is also needed. I didnt use the restaurant or bar, so cant comment on those.

Staff were helpful and friendly. But the room had a dirty stained carpet and I could not sleep because I kept coughing most of the night. Slept with the windows wide open

Everything was fine during my stay .. but my room in particular was a budget room and was run down sadly .. clean and maintained , but very ugly and run down ( in need of a good decorator ) Defo worth spending more for a nicer room if you want more comfort visually .. I just wanted a place to lay my head for the night and it served it’s purpose .. staff were great and the rest of the hotel looked great .. The bar area was nice and had great cider on tap and the lounging and dining area looked nice also with a SEAFRONT views .. but I skipped the breakfast option so can’t comment on the food .. but I’m always a fair and honest critic .. would I stay there again ? In a better room yes !!! In the room I had No !!! So Thats my review / view

The hotel is tired and dated, the photos of the room were nothing like our room. There was a horrible drain smell in our bathroom which never disappeared during our 3 night stay. The room itself and public areas were all clean and for the price we paid the stay was ok.

Tyvärr blev vi väldigt besvikna då hotellet inte alls levde upp till den standard som bilderna förmedlade. Hotellet är väldigt slitet, personalen är okej, men inga ambassadörer vare sig för sitt hotell eller för området. Frukostbuffén innehöll flera saker, men kändes prefabricerad. Vi köpte endast frukost en dag, det är helt enkelt inte värt pengarna. Hotellet saknar AC, är lyhört och är dåligt underhållet. För att säga något positivt så var det rent och hade bemannad reception och bar. Och är ni ute efter ett hotell med bedagade charm (?) pytteliten hiss och trånga, långa korridorer kanske detta är stället för er.

I had a very nice stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was really good being right across the road from the Beach and the Promenade is great for evening and morning walks, not too bad a walk into town, either. A very enjoyable weekend was spent there.

We had a such a special one night stay here. Perfect location on the seafront but a nice distance from the hustle and bustle. Absolutely beautiful room with lots of space. The bed was fantastic size and the chairs overlooking the front were a special touch. The staff were so polite and accommodating. The breakfast was top notch - excellent selection and hot food was beautifully cooked. We had the best stay - perfect for a couple’s romantic getaway.

Rooms a bit dated, but overall ok. Breakfast was good, Bar ok, prices reasonable for hotel. Staff very friendly. Was there for 5 nights, and rooms not serviced, had to ask for towel changes, toilet rolls, and milk for tea / coffee, only 6 sachets left in room. Hotel a 15 min walk along the flat promenade to pier and town area.

Our stay was okay, easy to park and was barely in the room which made it bareable. The hotel is extremely dated, the walls were so thin and our bathroom was horrific. We stayed for 1 night only and luckily had to be up early because the curtain didnt fit the window so was light coming through from sunrise.. easy to get to the pier, lovely sea view but i wouldnt recommend.

Okay, basic for the price. Room a little dated and maybe needs a little tlc and the windows were not clean otherwise okay.

As I'm unable to walk upstairs, I was grateful that there was lifts to my room, but it was different outside the hotel, it's not accessible, the bedroom was a bit small for 2 single beds, and not much of a view as my room was at the back of the hotel.

The drainage in the bathroom is terrible. In addition, the photo in Expedia is not match with the actual room
