A nice stay for one night on our travels, albeit a tad expensive for the room. Great service from the manager Amanda, who was very welcoming and efficient.

Alex (hopefully this is her name ) she was so friendly & welcoming We saw her because there was a problem with the toilet seat, very noisy She was straight on the problem with WD40 but to no avail, she put on a new seat soft close too She served us dinner drinks & breakfast on our 1st well done Room a little out dated but ver comfortable with everything you would need Shower very nice Car park Easy walk to all attractions

We made an overnight stop here and found it comfortable and having a restaurant and bar was a bonus.

The accommodation is a quaint inn located in very close proximity (minutes drive) to Dunrobin Csstle. The building is old (floor creaks) but had an updated bathroom. The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The staff were great: attentive, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a meal at the inn’s restaurant. For such a small establishment, the food offerings were quite varied, and very tasty.

Vacker hotellbyggnad men sämre kvalitet på rummet. Heltäckningsmattan var typ fuktig när vi kom och även något fuktig på morgonen. De skyllde på att de schamponerat mattan när de städade. Fönstret, som låg mot trafikerad gata kunde vi inte stänga utan fick kalla på hjälp. Men bra frukost.

Personalen behandlade en som något katten släpat in, och det innan vi ens fått en chans att säga hej. Rummen lågbudgetrenoverade med rickiga möbler. Luktade ofräscht i badrummet. Extremt lyhört och frukost endast mellan 8-9.

Very run down room. Room right over bar so had noise from there until about 11pm. Comfortable bed. Nice customer service.

Staff very helpful. Bin in bedroom hadn’t been emptied from last guests. Slopping floors ment head was lower than feet so had to move pillows to opposite end of bed without headboard. Cracked window pane. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. Clean bedding and clean towels

Extremely disappointing. Hot water for showering almost non existent. The room, while large, had a smell of mold and was visible in the windows. We were supposed to get breakfast but on the second morning the breakfast room was locked up and no staff to be found so we left with no breakfast. Our advice….find another place

Position was good, Room Ok for one night but very small. We had dinner which I enjoyed but my husband was not very impressed with his. He had fish which he had to take quite some time to get a mouthful with no bones.

Arrived and thought I had booked a run down hotel - first appearance not good - overgrown gardens - not been cared for - needs outside maintenance ie gutters - new windows - car park tidied. Booked in - not the most professional approach. Stairs to room and lots of steps- room was clean - one or two issues that could have easy been rectified. Mattress fine - pillows could have been softer but that’s a personal choice. For being a 4 star poor WiFi resulting in poor TV coverage . Breakfast - not much choice on menu - took the cooked full breakfast - scramble eggs were inedible - tattie scone drenched in oil looked like it had been deep fried - bacon overcooked - poor quality sausage. Dining room had a leak in roof due to heavy rain . Dinner was okay again not much choice . Same board meals next day. One particular member of staff was quite rude to other guests and noted a couple left when given wrong coffee and server more or less said well I’m trying my best - it was out of a machine she could have given the proper coffee instead of having a go at the guest. Dining chairs need to be repaired and maintained. Entrance area parquet floor needs scrubbed paint stops all over it . Lastly staff were mainly nice and pleasant - manageress needs to be a bit more professional in her attitude.

Receptionist was helpful, but did not have secure bike storage as claimed when I called before booking. Bathroom was new and good, bedroom dated. Food quality was good.

I found the stairs difficult but,I should have asked for a room suitable for a disabled person.
