Very clean!

My stay at Tryp Hotel was comfortable for a one-night stopover. Upon entering the room, there was a strong damp and musty smell, likely due to the AC being off before our arrival, which made the odor more noticeable. The scent suggested moisture or mild mold, which was not ideal. I did notice air purifiers placed throughout the hallway, which seemed to be an effort to address the issue. Despite this, the room served its purpose for the night. After a long drive, I was simply looking for a place to rest, and this hotel met that need at a fair price. While the conditions weren’t perfect, I made the best of it and appreciated having a place to crash for the night.

It was dirty the room and the room was smelling bad.

They gave us our room keys. When we arrived at our room it was a mess and had a musty odor. It appeared they were very behind as most rooms were open and not clean. This was also after 3:00. The carpets in the halls were also smelly. Front desk was not helpful. Will never go back to this hotel!

Room was wonderful. Parking is confusing because of the shape of the building. Tried to ask check in person where to park in conjunction to best access to our room. He was way too busy with a female associate to be of any help.

Bathroom was filthy. Shower pan BLACK with grime, not mold. They do not clean other, than vacuum - dust on all surfaces. I took video so no photo to upload.

Stopped here on our trip to Destin and it was great one night stay. We arrived at 2 am and the front desk staff was friendly and quick. Room was clean and comfortable. It is a little older hotel but very clean! Would stay again if in the area.

If you dont mind musty, unclean and moldy hotel this is your place. This was the worst place ive ever stayed in. There was black mold everywhere and the humidity throughout the enyire hotel.was unbearable. I was sick when I woke up! The bathroom had hair everywhere and there were flies all over. Absolutely disgusting!

Young man at front desk was efficient, personable, and very kind - just the sort of person to make a great first impression. Rooms are newer and nice, comfortable beds. Points off for cleanliness... bathroom door and faucet could have used a better cleaning and caulk at the bottom of the shower was moldy. I've been in better gas station restrooms than the one in their lobby.

Had to tolerate smoke detector going off and on reported at the front desk, they didn't have anyone on staff that could do anything about it very annoying. And unreachable, unfortunately

Clean, friendly efficient check-in, ac unit was noisy but kept room comfortable, breakfast was average.

Room. Checked into was not ready

The stay was good. The only issue is the amount of parking for people staying.

Nice place to stay, we try to always stay there.

The receptionist that first greeted me was arrogant and not professional when I initially tried to check in at 1 pm ET on Thursday and said “you are going to need to pay $30 extra for checking in 2 hours early.” It’s not about the $30, but to smugly tell me this and then snidely roll his eyes at me when I declined the offer I didn’t really appreciate. I didn’t see his name badge, but he is mid-30’s, shoulder-length hair, wears glasses.

It is secluded; away from City noise. If you go behind the building, you can access a stop light to go in any direction. Restaurants were within a couple of miles.

The propert and room smell like mildew. Breakfast was ok but not replenish after 830 am.
