Beautiful view of the river! The restaurant had a great breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed having an appetizer at the bar overlooking the river. Very clean, and a comfortable bed.

The property was amazing. Check in staff was great. Room was great. Ac was rather loud though. Breakfast in the restaurant was great. Great pool and patio. Overall a great place. Would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful plac

Checkin staff and bartender were wonderful. The waitress during breakfast was rude to our group and anorher family. Elevator was out that evening and of course we were on the 3rd floor.

Stayed here for a little weekend trip for my daughters college orientation, we loved it and will definitely be back.

Oaks on the River couldn't be more different from the chain hotels and mostly in good ways. The physical layout of rooms set in multiple buildings including two 200-year old mansions is the most obvious. Our king size bedroom felt very king-size. We arrived late in the rain and found our room with A MAP. Dining room was filled but the room service option was there. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and well worth its $25 charge, The grounds and dining areas in the mansions were striking. We chose OotR by chance in the midst of a 1600 mile driving trip but plan to return to stay and visit NYC.

Quaint and delightful little place nestled into majestic oaks surrounded by vast history and beautiful waterways. Exceptionally clean and service focused place to stay and relax for a quick weekend getaway or long week. A definite must for history soaked traveler

Everyone was so helpful and nice! The rooms were very nice other than under the bed was absolutely disgusting and looked like someone had not cleaned under the beds in months

Unique and beautiful boutique property located in a quaint little town. However, I did discover that by failing to mention I was a VIP silver status at check-in --I did not receive the $25 food and beverage package discount advertised at booking. Won't make that mistake again!

The setting was peaceful. Our view overlooked the pool and unfortunately, there was a very loud couple. Other than originally being given a room with a view of the wall, we asked if we could have a view of the river. They happily accommodated us for a $10 more. The breakfast was very good at a very nice price. We will return.

We love this hotel!! It is beautiful inside and out. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with amazing furniture. The bathroom was luxurious with a huge walk in shower. We especially loved our balcony overlooking the river. The view is to die for. It is truly breathtaking. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and informative. I recommend this hotel to everyone! It is a unique, hidden gem!

Everything was beautiful from the guest rooms to the lobby and the restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere amazing.
