I stayed here for 7 nights in May and the location is good though the large roundabout outside can be noisy on certain evenings. The breakfast was good but things could have been labelled better. The pool was small and unheated but was a nice addition. The room was a balcony room and was a very tight squeeze with an odd layout.
But the biggest issue of my stay was on the 3rd day it seemed like housekeeping had accidentally taken my pajama top along with the sheets when they cleaned the room. I told the front desk that day and they said they would contact housekeeping. After this, the staff never contacted us to give us an update. We continued to ask at the front desk about it almost every day but each time we were just told that they would check with housekeeping and each time felt like the first time they had heard about it.
It was disappointing that they never followed up or seemed to even be aware of the problem and never once did anyone apologise or even acknowledge the bad communication and situation. I felt the customer care was really poor and ultimately the staff were incredibly unhelpful and I returned home without it.
I understand that accidents can happen, but losing a guest’s belongings and then failing to properly follow up or apologise reflects very poor customer service. Because of this experience, I ultimately wouldn't recommend staying here.
