Wir sind immer mal wieder in Basel um Familie zu besuchen, das Hotel erfüllt alle unsere Anforderungen und wir kommen immer wieder gerne zurück. Die Lage ist top, wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Personal immer sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend, da wir mit Kleinkind reisen. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist super und auch ein Besuch im Restaurant abends lohnt sich. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Everything was great - hotel room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety - kids loved it!

The design of the hotel rooms was uncomfortable, no space to put anything, you could hit your head where you put your luggage. If you were not careful, the room was so hot. We had to wait five hours for the room to cool down and could not sleep. Modern, yes,, comfortable NO!

So wonderful hotel, almost brand new every where in hotel, they also provided a free Basel pass that you can go city by public transportation, breakfast is more than 5 stars hotel, variety of bread, cheese……. All you can eat, definitely, I will come back to stay again I. Future.

Staff were great, the hotel was modern and clean, and it had everything we needed.

Very disappointing. Was told at check-in that breakfast was either buffet or we could order off the menu. Next morning we went to the restaurant to order a small breakfast and were told we could not - it was the buffet or nothing. They said we could go to the bistro/bar for a light breakfast. We went there at 9:40am and the sign at the entrance said they didn't open until 11am. Then went to the front desk and they said it was open and serving food. Went back into the bistro/bar and talked to the bartender, and she said they were serving drinks but no food. Then back to the front desk person who said she would check, but we gave up after waiting five minutes. She then called us in our guest room to tell us the bistro/bar in fact was not serving food, but we could go up to the restaurant for coffee and a croissant. All of this took about 20 minutes. We gave up and went to a nearby restaurant. Just poor service, incorrect information, incorrect signage at the bistro, etc.

Hotel ultra-modern - e.g. elevators can only take you to your own floor- detected by card key. We have junior suite, which is extremely nice. Bathroom has 2 vanities, shower and toilet separate. Large, comfortable, and thermostat works. 8'th floor (room 806) with great view. Parking under hotel - spaces plenty wide but aisles very narrow - hard to park. Dinner in hotel bistro was good, but like Switzerland, expensive compared to France. Hotel windows have automatic shutters that come down when the sun is on that side, to keep sun out. Dinner in the regular restaurant was even more expensive. Staff has been friendly and helpful. On 12/31, had plugged toilet - upgraded to room 1400, a full suite. Lots of space, great views. Hotel looks, operates and feels like 5*. Only miss might be the dining areas, which are somwhat plain, with no table cloths. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Sehr cooles Hotel, super Lage

The hotel is very nice with great service, especially at the bar and restaurants. The food was great with excellent breakfast. Sadly however the rooms are not cleaned properly with dusty surfaces and dirty floors. Our coffee mugs were wiped rather than changed and clean which made us really question the standards for housekeeping. Another big let down was the SPA - despite having a lot of potential it was unkept and also dirty at times. For example no towels or water available.
