This hotel is an art deco gem with fantastic, friendly vibes. We booked the Ideale Plus Deluxe Double Room and it was charming, spacious, and comfortable. The pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. There was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room, and it was very clean. The bathroom doesn't do much to mask any sounds, so if you're not at that level yet with your partner, it's something to consider. The shower was great and you could strip paint with the water pressure. The location is perfect, close to transport, and a 30-40 minute walk to everything. Very safe at night. The bar is beautiful and the staff are friendly and capable, except for the older server with the stubble, who's a pompous knob with an attitude. The thing that irked me about this place is that the best four tables in the house, located in the four corners of the room were reserved every night, all night, with nobody ever sitting at them. I got the impression that the staff's friends come often and they keep seats open in case they happen to pass by. They force you to sit at the bar while these four tables sit empty all night. Might be something for management to address. Outside of that, I highly recommend this hotel without any regrets booking here. We will definitely be staying here the next time we visit Vienna which is once per year, me being from Canada, and my partner from Austria. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable! Excellent staff and gorgeous rooms

Room felt like small apartment. Enjoyed decor 1920s . Excellent restaurant for dinner very near hotel. Many bakeries sandwich shops. Excellent Breakfast in hotel. Jazz music in common areas could be improved. Would benefit from non vocal additions.All staff had adequate English. Only drawback constant music usually vocal from 1930s in common areas. Choice jazz could be improved.

Great boutique hotel. Very unique -but small- rooms. Good (but not excellent) breakfast (not worth the price). Good location, walking distance (max 30 minutes) to everything.

Staff were very friendly, especially restaurant staff for morning breakfast, and the reception.

Beautiful hotel, well styled bedrooms. Nicely decortated room. A great central location with a metro station a couple of minutes a way.

A very nice hotel! Superb service, from absolutely everyone you met from the staff. Nicely decorated. The breakfast was ok, I enjoyed the concept and the experience, but the produce/quality could level up a bit to match the rest. The location is also good, you can walk to most of Vienna, but not in the most touristy area still. The only downside was the parfyme/refresher they sprayed in the room. SO heavy smell, unpleasant. Also one in our group is sensitive to perfume, this was not good not to be warned when booking and there is no way you can remove a product like that when already sprayed. Recommend you to request the hotel in advance not to spray this before your arrival, was too much/unpleasant also for the ones not normally sensitive to perfume. Besides that, everything was highly recommendable!
