Slow service in bar

Nice size swimming pool, friendly staff, clean big bedroom. Definitely we will stay with them next time.

Lovely hotel, clean, spacious rooms, good WiFi - only one issue being my room was above/close to the gym on site, meaning you could hear the thumping bass from the workout classes when trying to work in the room. That aside, nice hotel, very convenient location with a big supermarket and petrol station across the street.

Friendly welcome, plenty of parking, huge comfortable bed.

Restaurant vastly overpriced

I recently stayed at the Village Hotel Bracknell for a 1-night family stay (2 adults, 2 kids). The experience was unfortunately ruined by poor communication and rude staff. Room Issues Our family room was unbearably hot due to a broken AC. I reported this at 7:00 PM before dinner. When we returned at 9:00 PM, it was still broken. Reception initially claimed no other family rooms were available. Only after significant persuasion were we finally given two double rooms. I appreciate the eventual resolution, but it shouldn't have been a long winded negotiation. Dinner Disaster At our 7:00 PM dinner, no one warned us about kitchen delays or how the kids' meals worked. We waited a full hour for food (30 minutes for starters, 30 minutes for mains). To make matters worse, my son’s chicken tenders never arrived. When I asked, I was finally informed there was a "children's buffet." Had we known this when seated, we wouldn't have made hungry kids wait an hour for a missing meal. Breakfast Rudeness The next morning, the manager assigned us a table that wasn't made up yet. We placed our water beakers down, and a waitress rudely scolded us for putting items on an un-set table. I reported her unprovoked rudeness directly to the manager, who offered absolutely no apology. Basic hospitality and communication were entirely missing during our stay. Would not recommend unless you don't mind the poor customer service levels.

Overall the stay was great. We did have access issues into our room on our last day but with feedback provided this will help others on their future stays.

The breakfast was served in such a way condensation and moisture was present in the breakfast which wasn't pleasant. The 3rd floor had a musky smell in the time I was there which wasn't nice. Club room was average, couldn't see where the value was?

What a bargain. Fab room for three of us, clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay at a village hotel again

Clean room. Friendly hrlpful staff

The hotel was ok little dated. Great gym. Fire alarm was set off in my room from drying my hair so overly sensitive. Breakfast was not great. Only English breakfast, small selection of bread which was not that fresh, no hams, cheeses, salami etc which most hotels provide. Worst was the automated DE coffee machine coffee was revolting.
