Excellent, enjoyed, hospitality was great

Clean room, newer building, excellent staff, good WiFi, good food. Excellent duty manager Akash. We were greeted with their cultural hat and scarf. He made sure we were taken good care. We were sent off with great care as well. A must stay hotel in Shimla.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Hotel. Spotless room and a very smooth checkin. It was in total the best stay with yummy food.

We have booked a family room. Room is big enough & spacious, clean with a balcony. Staffs are very polite & gentle, they are always ready to help. Food is excellent & taste or quality of food is great. The hotel is situated in a convenient area of Shimla. Overall a great experience to stay at The Orchid.

The orchid hotel i. Shimla is in a fantastic location. We stayed for three nights and we enjoyed the very helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast and dinner they serve is excellent and good value for money.

Friendly staff and great food

The reception staff not friendly (not expecting all jolly) but least smile. The electric kettle was dirty when asked to change, staff took almost 45 mins to change and no apology for delay.

It was a good stay at Orchid. The staff is very welcoming. Food was good. Room was neat and clean.

Room sheets were not clean , very far from the ridge , Definitely not 5 star. Easly qualifiy for 3 star barely.

A nice hotel, very clean and amazing views staff very friendly and helpful and could t do enough to make our stay comfortable Only issue to be aware of is the location. To get anywhere you need a taxi and even using uber you have ti wait a long time as drivers feel the hotel is too far out. A taxi to the Mall area will cost 700 rupees so you need to factor this in. It’s a good 20-39 min ride depending on traffic (took over an hour one day)

Excellent choice of hotel for stay at Shimla. Though The Family Room was a bit small for a party of three adults, it was adequate for our needs. The breakfast choice and selection was plentiful and staff went beyond to cater for our needs and made our stay enjoyable. Dinner at hotel was one of the best. Food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay here again for our next visit.

No valet facility upon arrival. Staff not cooperative

The staff were absolutely amazing at this hotel, nothing was too much trouble for them especially at breakfast & dinner. The hotel is well located with some amazing views overlooking the hillside properties of Shimla.
