These days, corporate chain hotels (even reputable ones) seem less and less reliable for amenities and a great service experience. The Green Room Hotel shows how a single location hotel can go above and beyond. They have responsive textable customer service for anytime you need something. The beds are COMFORTABLE and clean, so you’ll have a great night of sleep. The room is CLEAN and you can tell they made a concerted effort to have stylish and fun decor. You can walk to the beach and other restaurants and shops. We even walked all the way to the pier. When you stay, I highly recommend walking right down the block for breakfast at Don’s Country Kitchen!! There is also a discreet trash/recyclable disposal area in the parking lot which is very clean and accessible. It’s great since sometimes you have food late-night and want to get rid of the trash right away. Parking lot is free and you don’t have to register your car, just pull in and access your room. I like that you use a code to enter the rooms so you don’t have to worry about carrying around a room key. Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend this place as a cute and comfortable staycation/vacation spot! Thanks Green Room!!!

I freaking love The Green Room! This is our 2nd or 3rd stay, and I’ll keep coming back as long as it’s there. The location is fantastic, being close to a lot of local shopping, restaurants, the beach, and other activities. Most of which we walked to, or it was a very short car ride. The room itself was clean, set up well, and detached from other rooms which was nice. It’s next to a main road but it’s still surprisingly quiet and didn’t disturb us. The property is lovely, with a hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor seating. Any questions we had were answered within just a few minutes of sending a text. Everything about staying here is super easy - I swear I wish I could live here!!!

Wonderful place to stay, very peaceful and the room was very clean and unique.

The service was great and the room was nice and spacious for my family of 4. Our texts were responded to right away and they even had a charger we were able to borrow in a pinch.

Cute vintage styled room with kichenette! Only 12 units, all ground floor. Close to beach, shopping, restaurants.Also good for kids and dogs!

Great little getaway with all the amenities you’d want nearby! We loved the well designed rooms, the little market across the street and the fact that we could walk to dinner and drinks!

I had to make a last minute change in my reservation and The Green Room was very helpful and flexible, they were very easy to work with.

This place was exactly like the pictures.. Cute and clean!! I would definitely suggest this place to my family and friends.. It feels like a secret hidden Gem!! And it was super easy to use this app to set it up. It was my first time. I would definitely stay here again!!

Felt a little dirty, pretty loud and curtains let in a lot of light and u could peak through them.

We just returned from a three day stay at the Green Room. Loved it! The room was very comfortable and the decor was very cool with a California vibe. The room as well as the entire property was pristine. Additionally, the manager was very friendly and quick to respond when we requested extra towels. The hot tub was a great touch after spending our days walking all over San Diego sightseeing. On the weekend there was coffee and doughnuts left for the guests in the courtyard. The area was nice with many coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk. Overall, I would rate the Green Room 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend to everyone.

Loved the room!

The area is great and the price was good. The rooms are trendy with a nice design but my room smelt like mildew, the electronic keypad on the door was not working properly (luckily the cleaning lady was there with a key) and the bed was very uncomfortable. Beds are subjective but I personally don’t like the foam bed in a box mattresses. It’s not a bad place and the price is very fair but the 9.6 rating it has was way too high based on my experience.
