If You are a backpacker that enjoys to keep a distance from all the hustle and bustle of the city, Varandas do Vidigol is Your prayer answered with a Varandas view that maybe the Finest in the World! The Varandas gives anyone such a spectacular view, You start questioning is this a Hostel or the 200th Top Floor to a Luxury Hotel charging $1,000.00 a night?

Nice hostel with amazing view over the ocean. Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for travel buff who enjoys walking up and down the mountain, or taking a motorbike as a way to get to the hostel, as well as exploring the Vidigal area and other places nearby.

O quarto não estava totalmente limpo e o ar não funcionava. Mas o lugar é agradável e recomendo para curta estadia

não me hospedei,no momento do check in o hostel tentou praticar outro valor,dizendo que o preço estava errado no site e iria cancelar minha reserva,peguei meu dinheiro e fui paa outro hostel, o dono queria levar vantagem e me cobrar o dobro, não recomendo péssimo atendimento e foi praticamente um roubo oque o hostel queria fazer.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist nicht im Zentrum aber absolut an einem Wunderschönen Platz. Man hat eine wundervolle Aussicht auf das Meer.

Es un muy buen lugar para hospedarse, la vista es increíble y excelente la atención, un poco díficil la llegada ya que queda muy arriba, pero la vista lo vale.

Hostel is situated in Vidigal.You can walk from here to Ipanema or Copacabana.You can also take a bus.The view is amazing!Armando and his wife are very nice,friendly and helpful couple.Highly recommended!

Fui ao Rock in Rio 2015 e me hospedei nesse hostel super aconchegante, pra quem é de fora e não conhece nada do Rio, é um pouco difícil de localizar pois a identificação ainda não é satisfatória. Mas vale muito a pena, pois a receptividade foi maravilhosa e o atendimento muito bom, talvez o café da manhã poderia ser mais variado, mas isso em nada muda a beleza do lugar... Super recomendado

Hostel sijaitsi Vidigal-lähiössä kukkulan rinteellä. Hostelissa oli useita dormeja, jotka olivat perussiistejä ja sängyt olivat hyviä. Yhteinen wc ja suihkuhuone oli myös kohtalaisen siisti. Hostelin aulatila on ulkona terassilla osittain katoksen alla ja sieltä on upeat näköalat Atlantin valtamerelle ja Ipaneman rannalle. Aamiainen oli yksinkertainen, mutta ihan ok. Matka keskustaan hoitui puolessa tunnissa skootteritaxilla (n. euro) ja bussilla (toinen mokoma).

Stayed at the Varandas do Vidigal for 6 nights during the world cup and had a great time.Best shower pressure and temperature out of all the hotels I stayed in 4 weeks in Brazil !
