This hotel was affordable and had a great free breakfast with it. It isn’t close to anything if you are sightseeing but the location worked for our car pickup and drop off. It is very outdated and a bit musty but the rooms are clean. Our shower didn’t work well nor did it drain. Foam spray visible around the window air conditioner. Our second room had a walk in shower and updated flooring which helped. Just a bit old and outdated. Worked for one night in each end of our trip as the cost wasn’t outrageous compared to downtown or airport hotels.

Great for last minute overnight stay before catching a super early flight because of the proximity to the airport. Need a car to get to downtown, otherwise it’s a 40 min walk. Old-fashioned room with dated furniture.

The room was very dated and the pic of room booked looked nothing like pic on website. The tv didnt work and when we were leaving saw some sort of weird big on the floor.The hallways smell old and gross. I do not recommend this place at all.

Clean, excellent staff, excellent food, free parking - would room here again.

Easy check-in. Breakfast was awesome. Staff are courteous. Price point is great.

Although there was no smoking in the room, it still seemed to smell of old smoke. We were there for a very short time, so really of no consequence

The governor was a great place to stay, I’d go there again. I wasn’t thrilled with service in the pub even though I tipped. Maybe regulars are the most important people in there and I can appreciate that. Might need to spend some money on those booth seats cause they’re pretty worn. Other than those things, the governor as a whole is a good place.

Overall place was nice and in a very good location. The Pub on site was okay however understaffed for breakfast and some of the taps were flat. But the rooms and stay were nice I would come back for accommodations again.

Room was alright. Not as described on Expedia. Room was adequate. Cleaning staff only came when requested. If you don't request Room and towels never got changed or cleaned. Wait staff in restaurant was great. Either Expedia or hotel over charged and charged 300 more than the receipt. Contacting Expedia about this now

The staff are always friendly. I have stayed here a few times and have nothing but good things to say about the place and staff

We checked in, our room was down in the basement. The smell was unbearable. It was out dated. The linoleum floor was peeling apart. We went back up and turned our keys in. We did not stay. The stink was just too much.

The breakfast was good and plentiful, with containers provided if you can’t eat it all then.

Very quaint motel, awesome food, the best down home hospitality.

The hotel is a bit older, and while the cleanliness could be improved, it offers excellent value for the price. The food in the pub is absolutely delicious, and the staff at both the hotel and the restaurant were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had four people staying in our room, and whenever we needed extra towels, they were happy to bring them to us promptly. Their warm hospitality and attentive service made our stay a very pleasant one. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

It has a great vibe, old style Inn. It needs some upgrading though. Our room, double bed, was very small and felt stuffy. There was a window air conditioner that we had to run the whole time to feel any air circulation. The window didnt open to provide fresh air. This made it very loud for sleeping. The rooms with a door directly to the outside would be optimum. The staff were great, the room was clean and the pub was good food. Good location and close to all amenities. I would return to a different room.

The room was clean but the air conditioner was very noisy and the bed was not comfortable. Got very little sleep. Turned the air conditioner off to try and get some sleep. The temperature rose up to 26° C, so had to turn the air conditioner back on.
