The location was great and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great too. We would definitely stay there again.

O hotel está muito bem localizado a poucos passos da praça central. É um prédio histórico de 1500, muito bem conservado e lindo. Funcionários muito gentis. Quarto grande com vista para um jardim maravilhoso. Tem degraus, um cuidado para quem tem algum problema de locomoção. Tem restaurante guia Michelin mas que funciona somente de quarta a sábado. Não tomamos café da manhã. Estacionamento na rua, em frente ao hotel.

Quand je viens à Gouda, il est inconcevable pour moi de ne pas rester à cet endroit! C’est un bijoux. Malgré le fait que ma chambre était à côté des marches cette fois-ci et que c’était très bruyant lorsque les autres clients y passaient, cet endroit reste l’un de mes favoris. Le personnel est accueillant, le location est centrale, le service est impeccable, c’est un must go!!

No one who is physically challenged or a solo traveller should stay at this hotel. The reception closes at 9 pm with staff then no longer in the building including no security. The internal premises are left in the dark with low visibility. The entry door to be used after 9 pm is very difficult to open. I tried for 15 minutes on my first night of staying. Finally got assistance to open door from a woman walking her dog. She tried opening the door for 5 minutes before being successful. This was definitely a security issue for me and I felt very unsafe. I am mobility challenged so faced stairs to climb. The restaurant was also not open for dinner for me entire stay. I will never stay again at this hotel. I have been frequently visiting Gouda since 1993.
