Danna was very friendly and warm and welcoming and arrived just as I was there and was thoughtful enough to keep her beautiful giant dog Blue behind a closed door. Thankfully, bc i am terrified of dogs! She suggested a beach spot and a pizza place and was very kind. The room is clean and neat and was all i needed for an overnight stay nearbye. There is a fire pit and grassy little spots out front to sit on and picnic tables, though everyone there that night, seemed to gather out front of their doors and smoked cigarettes, which was discouraging for a non-smoking woman on her own. Otherwise, it was a fine place to stay, quiet and clean and just fine. The beds are not the most comfortable, but for what it is, it did the trick!

We booked this stay last minute, and the staff were extremely accommodating. They approved late check out, they met us after 10:30 pm for our check in. Very friendly and room looked renovated and clean, bed was comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little hotel. Only issue was the mirror in the bathroom it was mounted so high, had to stand on tip toe to see my face.

Clean and tidy.

We were in down for a Pet related event and the Motel was excellent. The room was spacious and offered a good frig and comfortable bed and easy access for me coming and going with my dog. The owner was friendly and accommodating.

Clean, spacious room a with friendly service. Central to a few areas but need to drive to them.

The rooms are in excellent shape and have a refrigerator with a microwave as well. A working TV and Window A/C is provided along with the room and a comfortable spring firm bed. **Caution the water in the motel has a very strong Iron or Metal smell** Please do take a shower whenever you get home, we aren’t sure if the water has lead in it or not*** Just simply do not use the water for anything other than a quick shower.

Convenient location. Friendly new owners. Dated rooms and bad wifi but price was affordable for the area.

Jason and Dana are great hosts. They are very knowledgeable about what the area has to offer. Budget friendly place as well

A pure hidden gem. Tay Motel exceeded all of my expectations. The Managers Dayna and Jay were extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the fire pit and the ability to walk to a great fishing area. It was an amazing stay and I definetly will be going back.
