Very hard to check in

Den bedste oplevelse og så hotel med kun *… ligger perfekt med tog/bus/og en masse fine spisesteder / absolut bedst er service/smil og værtskab.. lad dig ikke snyde for kun * og denne oplevelse ..

Hotel Ballaro is gorgeous; walking up the grand staircase into the hotel area almost feels like you could be a background character in Romeo and Juliet. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready on our arrival, despite having sent our flight information ahead of time, and we were missed receiving the instructions on how to actually enter the building once we found it, but once that was sorted out, we had a lovely stay.

Very basic but clean and safe and comfortable without frills. Staff was friendly, breakfast was a nice bonus and the cool old royal palace was definitely interesting. Location is easy, perhaps be cautious at night but otherwise didn’t feel unsafe.

Bra läge och mycket prisvärt boende med trevlig personal

Hôtel situé dans un site impressionnant et hors du temps. Déconnexion garantie. J'ai passé 5 jours magiques. Immense merci à tout le personnel pour leur gentillesse et leur bienveillance.

The hotel's exterior is unassuming, with not much clear signage, but the inside courtyard is nice. The rooms were large and clean, and the external separate bathroom was nicely appointed. For a budget stay, I definitely recommend.

Centralt och prisvärt boende

Överraskande bra budgethotell . Ligger nära Balleromarknaden och gångavstånd till den finare delen av Palermo. Lite svårt att hitta då det ligger inne på en gård, men det är Snyggt med den gamla. Okej frukost, enkel och italiensk med många söta saker.

Bra service, Bra läge och riktigt prisvärt

Hotel is a convenient 6 minute walk from the train / bus station. The entrance was difficult to find at first, apple maps said it was around the corner from where it actually was. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. Downside: you can hear everything. The rooms are not soundproof as advertised. We could hear people talking in the hallway, the showers in the other rooms, and people entering and exiting the hotel. Other than this, it was an enjoyable stay.

Mycket prisvärt hotell nära centralstationen

Fantastisk miljö, billigt, enkelt och rent.

Not my fav hotel and one which has a very odd owner see Google owner replies and the rooms are ok but I would not recommend more than one night /it is near the bus station and trains but the area around it is quite run down / overall I feel u can find better value elsewhere and I won't be back

Mycket bra pris för boendet, tyvärr hade vi ingen möjlighet att titta ut då fönstret satt för högt upp. Mycket trevlig personal, Bartolo i receptionen talade bra engelska. Mycket bra läge, nära till stationen och busstranfer till flygplatsen. Nära till en av de stora restaurangstråken med stort utbud av mat och barer.

Een hotel in een eeuwenoud paleis midden in het centrum van Palermo met alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Vriendelijke gastheer, heerlijk ontbijt en een schone kamer. De kamer is eenvoudig maar voldoet uitstekend.

We arrived in the evening and had a somewhat difficult time finding the entrance as there is no evident sign. There are many stairs and no lift, so travel light. The room was spare but clean and had a wonderful bed and the old palazzo was very quiet. It was all very clean and the breakfast was good and in a most picturesque room.

Within walking distance to some monuments. There's a supermarket nearby. Clean. Housekeeping threw away something i set aside (along with some other items) on the table. Make sure you keep any items away, unreachable. Otherwise, it might get thrown away. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Has heat + air conditioning. Breakfast is included & is good. Pastries, yogurt, some fresh fruits, some local. Shower + sink have good water pressure + drainage. Temperature was good except when it malfunctioned. Room has a mini fridge. The parking lot looks a bit dark at night, but its inside the secured area. I use the flashlight from my mobile phone for better lighting. Note there is no elevator to get to the hotel (starting from the 2nd floor, + no elevator inside the hotel. Staff are helpful. Front desk is not 24/7. The hot water system malfunctioned at night, this was fixed in the morning when staff arrived. Not sure what standard arrangements are possible for something like this after hours, but, it would be a bonus if staff can address these when they happen/as needed.
