Could not have asked for more. Cabin is well equipped and feels homey, without being claustrophobic. Good shower, and mini kitchen equipped with kettle, microwave, fridge freezer, plus a barbecue outside. Felt private and peaceful. Looking out onto the fields was very relaxing, and meeting the animals was a wonderful experience! Great list of recommendations, hosts very friendly and attentive without being ‘in your face’. Easy parking, loads to explore nearby!

Best “citybreak” stay of our lives! Everything was absolutely perfect and there’s nothing we’d change, except our length of stay - if we could, we’d still be there, but not sure the hosts would want squatters on their land! Animal therapy, amazing hosts, Mother Nature herself looking after you … bird songs, deers, donkeys, pigs, goats, cats, and anything in between! If you’re not used to glamping, don’t bother leaving nasty reviews. Says more about you than the place. If you don’t love nature, again…don’t bother, it’ll be lost on you. Amanda, Barry, Ray, loved meeting you all and thank you for having us. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at the Rabbits Burrow at Starry Meadows and it was an absolute delight from the second we set foot in our unit. The charming little container had everything we needed in terms of essentials for our two-night stay, as well as several little special touches that made the whole thing feel really personal. You can tell the hosts really care about the comfort of their guests! The cleanliness was 10/10 too. Amanda made sure to make us feel welcome and even let us extend our check out time so that we could bask in the sun a little longer and take our time to leave. If you need a break away from the chaos of everyday life, and just want to spend some quiet time with some gorgeous rescue animals as your neighbours, we recommend visiting Starry Meadows.

We stayed in Cosy Nook and what a wonderful weekend we had for my birthday. Amanda was amazing and the animals are adorable. We felt so welome and Cosy Nook and the surrounding area was just perfect. I adored every thing about it, the outside bathroom was fantastic and outdoor living was great. Sitting round the fire with a glass of bubbles and food cooked on the BBQ - nothing beats it. We will be back!

Absolutely loved staying here. We stayed for my birthday and because we love going to different beaches. Definitely did not disappoint. I’d love to book again. If you love animals as well, there’s a resident cat that will love a cuddle, the donkeys are lovely, the pigs are funny, and the goats are adorable!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Starry Meadow. It was a very cosy stay, very well situated and Amanda was a great host. We had a great time getting to know some of the rescue animals on site too

Lovely quiet location, friendly and helpful people, and lovely little spot

An absolutely lovely place to be. Will definitely try & come back. The owners were friendly & it was lovely being so close to the animals. There is a good pub for food within walking distance and it’s about 4 miles to the coast. Could not fault our four nights away at all.
