Business trip, no mention of fully booked with a wedding, so got last room overlooking decked patio where about 8 kids were running about screaming, then the adults joined in. Asked to be moved to git told we can give you earplugs. Just done 14 hours work/travel so with no real option I went to local Premier Inn which was perfect for me. I asked for refund but no commitment to do so and just the receipt sent.

Lovely hotel, comfy room and good food! Nice garden for the dog also. My only comment is that we were unable to tip the restaurant staff on the card machine as tips are cash only. Very few people carry cash these days and tips can make up a reasonable component of service staffs pay. I implore management to change this.

Location was perfect for us whilst visiting relatives in the area. Superior room was comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Stay was very relaxing. Great spot for views- we had lovely weather. In the main staff were welcoming. Especially Paul on reception. The approach road just before the hotel has lots of potholes. Ok for our 4x4 but needs some attention. Couple of breakfast staff could be a bit more welcoming.

Second time Ive stayed here. Its a place I choose when Im working in the area. Always clean and comfortable, with good amenities. The restaurant is good, but I find its a little high end for a work stay. Breakfast is good.

Room and service was amazing. However, i ledt my phone charger in the room. Tried calling the hotel for days but no answer. Left a message on their website but no response.

One of our favourite places to stay. We travel a fair bit due to work, LH is always top notch. A really nice and more luxurious alternative to the Premier Inns.

Breakfast could have been a “full” Welsh breakfast rather than having to choose between tomato or beans. Bread could’ve been better rather than a sliced loaf. Rooms and location on the other hand were excellent!

All the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and always ready to help. I stay regularly and the rooms are always cleaned to a high standard whatever ones you stay in. Breakfast always really good also and served promptly and fresh

The room was very dated. Tile’s on bathroom floor cracked and a smell of urine . We didn’t notice this when we went in the room on arrival because we just put our bags in and left . It was on returned late at night when we went back and used the bathroom that we noticed it so had to spray perfume and opened the window because the fan in the bathroom also didn’t work . The staff were very nice.

Nice hotel. Unusually good food in the restaurant. Unfortunately, very noisy all night, with lots of car doors banging in the car park directly under my window
