Comfy lounge area. Breakfast good. Very polite and accommodating staff.

The hotel is a tale of two halves with their classic room, or certainly the one we were initially allocated were dated, very old, scratched furniture, mouldy shower curtain and a strong musty smell. We complained about this in reception and were moved to a lovely superior room, which was in the part of the re-decorated area of the hotel. I would be mindful of this when booking a room again. My issue is, if the hotel wasn't full then why allcoate us that below par room in the first place? Superior room was very comfortable and staff were friendly, would stay again but I'd be mindful which room to book in future.

Welcoming staff, plenty of parking. Real attention to detail which is sadly lacking in most other hotels.

Service was consistently good. Lovely bar. Great music. Room was a bit tired and bare. Only one chair in room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast had lots of choice but cooked Welsh breakfast wasn’t quite as good as on last visit. We would definitely stay again.

Room was spacious, spotless, modern with great Wi-Fi and good amenities. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was great. Excellent value for money all round.

Absolutely fantastic all round. We travelled with a service dog and the staff were amazed we put her dishes in the shower area. (I mean doesn't everyone do this). Staff brilliant, service brilliant. Thank you

The Llechwen Hall is an amazing gem hidden away in the wilds of south Wales. Our two night stay was excellent was very good in many ways, especially the helpful and friendly staff - Emma (restaurant serving staff member) in particular. The only suggestion would be to plan to manage the impact on hotel residents of holding events, such as the "Wedding Fair/Fayre" held during our stay, considering the narrow road/lane access to the hotel, as we had to wait about 40 minutes in line behind about 15 cars with nowhere to go.
