Great spot for work & will be an even better spot when I return with family. Bedrooms superb & well thought out, dinner choice, service & food were excellent.

Check in was professional and informative. Room amenities very good and exceptionally clean. Restaurant staff very attenuative and a very good menu selection. Breakfast was a blast. Superb service, tasty food and fantastic staff member. very funny and really made a great start to my morning. Having paid for all of the amenities offered within the room rate the one reason why I specifically return to a hotel is the people, they are the difference that makes the difference. how they engage with you and how they treat you is not paid for, it is how they are as a person. Thank you Amanda, my day got off to a great start because of you.

Lovely old hotel with lots of character. Great beer garden. Lovely breakfast and very helpful staff

All good except when i arrived and checked in at 7.00pm there was no availability in the restaurant. Had to go elsewhere for food. Never new that you had to pre book even though staying there. Just disappointing after a long day.

A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.

Good size room, large king-size comfy bed, big bathroom with walk-in shower and bath. Clean & warm.

Great location and rooms. The bar area / breakfast area is really special. A great breakfast but could do with the option of being able to pay for better coffee as an option. Will definitely stay again.

Such a lovely find , was looking for a short stay following my husband having his chemo therapy . Needed to chill . The Greenman was perfect . Very clean , comfortable , lovely staff and great food .

We had a two night stay which was excellent. The breakfast was great, the room was clean and tidy and the restaurant food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend it.

A great place to stay large rooms which was warm and comfortable so quiet at night too. Great food and lovely fresh ales.

Excellent staff. We were delayed by bad weather and arrived late, just as the chef told reception that he’d finished service. He immediately asked what we’d like to eat and prepared us a great dinner. The general manager and breakfast waitress were also very helpful and friendly.

Friendly helpful staff, all individual rooms, mine had a large comfortable bed, with large en-suite with good walk in shower and heated towel rail, all very clean too. All good but let down when the chef was awol for breakfast?

Food was amazing, room was less so. It looked tired and had a strange green light in the ceiling that didn’t turn off and made sleeping tough. For the price they charge there are better options. Go there to eat but I wouldn’t recommend staying.
