We are a big family and were welcomed with open arms. Hotel Balsthal is a charming, modern hotel with a rustic feel to it. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back. Staff is very welcoming to children and went above and beyond to accommodate our little ones. It is surrounded by beautiful nature trails and old castles to visit. I strongly recommend staying here!!!

Die Zimmer waren sauber und ansprechend. Das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig.

The hotel is nice but the walls between rooms are very thin and it was possible to hear everyone from other sooms. Generally price per night is high considering location (not big city or turistic place).

Very kind people and a nice room. The breakfast was also very good.

Glücklicherweise wurde es in der Nacht kühl. Das Zimmer verfügte nicht über eine Klimaanlage. Wir haben im Kornhaus übernachtet. Die Umbauten in diesem Gebäude sind gelungen und wirklich gut ausgeführt.

Ottimo albergo, posizionato in una cittadina tranquilla. Parcheggio comodissimo. Colazione abbondante, personale gentilissimo e sorridente. Ristorante buono.

Da wir seit ca. 10 Jahren jährlich ein Wochenende da verbringen: Man kann zusehen,wie die Qualität der Hotellerie und des Restaurants, Jahr für Jahr etwas weniger wird. Schade eigentlich.

Unkompliziert, gut gelegen, ruhig. Matratze zu weich.
