I would highy recommed it. It was a wonderful amd beautiful place to stay.

This hotel had private parking. But was very close for walking to the castle and other downtown attractions. Also thry had early breakfast.

The property has lots of character and dining options. Tended to be a little noisy at night, noise came from people partying.

The noise from the street was extremely loud the old sash windows did nothing to keep the noise out in our first floor bedroom. I did request a quite room but this was one of the noisiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The noise continued until 2.30/3am it didn't help that there was a pizza shop/takeaway across the street where people seemed to gather after exiting the pub.

Langtons was the perfect stay for us in Kilkenny. We booked 3 Queen rooms and all 3 were upgraded to Garden Suites. The rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of seating and a large bay window that faced greenery outside. The bathroom was huge and beautifully appointed. We were gratefully located on the ground floor, as there is no elevator. It was very private and quiet. The location in Kilkenny was perfect and we walked everywhere we needed to go. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

The hotel was centrally located very close to the bridge. Walkable to everything you’d want to walk to including the castle. Very close to several area restaurants. I personally was not a fan of the decor, but it had a beautiful bathroom and many amenities. I would choose it again.

Really a decent place, but it was tricky to find the parking lot the first time through town! Enjoyed the location - could walk to pubs and restaurants in the area. Breakfast was good.

Large, clean room and bathroom the hotel had lots of public space and would be great option for business meetings or weddings. Easy walk to the castle, medieval mile, pubs snd restaurants. We were in a garden room which requires a little outside walk to main hotel, but we had beautiful weather so it was not a problem.

The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is the statement while booking that parking is included. It isn’t, you park about a 1/2 block away and pay for it at a kiosk.

Sehr schönes, uriges Hotel. Zimmer sehr groß und sauber, Frühstück kannn teilweise von der Karte bestellt werden und war sehr gut. Parkplätze sind groß und ausreichend vorhanden...ABER: Es ist extrem laut, was elne erholsame Nacht unmöglich macht und das auch, wenn keine Hochzeit im Hotel stattfindet und die Bar nicht geöffnet ist. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, die Fenster haben keinerlei Schallisolierung, was wohl dem Alter des Gebäudes geschuldet ist. Man hört jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarzimmer und selbst die Gespräche vom Bürgersteig, die stark befahrene Straße direkt vor dem Hotel ist die ganze Nacht extrem störend. Beim einchecken wurde uns auf Nachfrage mitgeteilt, dass das schon ein sehr ruhiges Zimner ist. Hotel grundsätzlich top, aber Nachtruhe findet man hier keine.

Great bar area with fun staff

Property’s main level indoor event rooms and restaurant, as well as outside patio are beautiful. Nice bar on site with live music in the evening. Location is perfect to walking to all sites, restaurants, shopping. Our room was comfortable, but dated and no lift. Three floors up. It wasn’t a problem for us, but keep that in mind if it might be for you.

This was a very nice place.

Excellent property

I had forgotten my iPad in my room. The front desk staff packaged it up and addressed it for me for courier pickup. Everyone was personable and friendly at this hotel.

Room comfortable but shower not as good as you like, not very powerful. No biscuits, pais for delux room but above a wedding so bit noisy. Breakfast was ok bur not really that good. We had a great evening meal in the bar area. Staff were good and friendly.

Lovely restaurant and terrific, hot breakfast. Hotel rooms are extremely dated, and furniture should be replaced. Our room was on the third floor, yet there is no bell staff to assist with heavy luggage. No hot water pressure on third floor so showering was impossible. This hotel should be removed from Expedia listing.

Hotel was ok/average. If I should to go back to Kilkenny I probably would find a different hotel. They should change the duvet cover more often. Found several strands of hair they weren’t mine on the bed cover. Breakfast was awesome though and the chef cooked perfect poached eggs (which is not very common in most hotels).
