Hey Wanted to firstly say thank you for your reply, much appreciated. We are leaving today and have had a lovely stay. Over the years we have stayed in a lot of hotels and were excited to stay here mainly due to location and the room itself so I do feel like I should give you some feedback on the room. My partner does suffer from some allergies and has sneezed the whole time consistently, we couldn’t work out what it was but having dropped the remote on the floor it fell under the bed. I have attached a picture it is full, really full of dust! I’m not complaining I’m letting you know as it’s not nice. Also for future the room is 604, I couldn’t get the side lights on the mirror to work or connect to the tv to cast. We bought milk as I was surprised to see you only have the carton milk. All the little touches that other hotels get right. Thanks for listening and for your kind words. Again I’m not complaining just giving you some thoughts. Thank you. Normally 4* hotels do house keeping each day. Only every 3 days here. Bar staff don't get enough support from management. Customers waiting while management sat down.

Excellent service staffwent above and beyond. From front desk to service staff. I will definitely be making this my number one choice when looking to stay in Exeter. Lovely rooms, great central location 10/10

The location is right near the city center. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast is semi buffet and the hot dish cooked is with good standard. It is great that the room have hot water kettle!

Found it odd that having booked this hotel about 2 weeks earlier I was asked on arrival whether I had "paid" because it "looked like" the hotel had not had any money from Expedia. After a minute or two the person on reception said that he could in fact see payment had been made and we were given our room key.

Courteous and attentive staff. Very clean and quiet room. Spotless bathroom and shower. Lovely decor with nice homely touches like little wood carved rabbit and mice.

Room was nice and comfortable bed. Well decorated. Breakfast waiting time was terrible! Had to walk out as couldn’t wait any longer, but waited 25 minutes for some scrambled eggs! Not even that busy!

Clean room

Our best experience of hotels in Exeter. Lovely atmosphere in the lounge area and staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and the layout and style is really good. Nice to see that the shampoo , soap etc are not bolted down. Would definite go back when the opportunity arises

Room was amazing, very friendly staff

The hotel exceeds expectations. It is bright, modern, different in a good way. The staff are excellent - friendly, courteous, helpful, polite. The rooms were beautifully furnished and decorated. The bathroom spotless and well provided with toiletries. The in-room drinks were plentiful and varied. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and cooked to order in front of you. Will definitely return.

nice room decor, comfortable bed

We were staying the night before my husband’s back operation. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful.

Room was extremely well presented and clean. The entire stay was perfect. The only downside was the breakfast and the fact that the restaurant seem to only have one coffee machine and it took a long time waiting for coffee.

Air con seemed to be stuck on and was very loud during the night

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location right in the centre and close to the cathedral. Exceptionally clean room witha lovely walk in shower. Will stay again for sure when we come next time to Exeter. Staff were lovely too.

The hotel was lovely however it was way too hot and the air con was not effective in reducing the temperature. We also found the spa to be underwhelming. We were told there was only one hot tub working which was fine but the other one only had half the jets working and was quite grubby. There was also a damp smell not the usual lovely aroma you would expect in a spa.

Didn’t use facilities but room excellent - bed was a bit too high for me and I could have used a small step stool for easier access

The room as always was lovely, thank you. My husband is disabled so the access to the hotel is an issue, he did not come with me because of this. The breakfast was fabulous! Greta quality and beautifully presented.
