The property was a great place, plus the playground is simply amazing.

Walls paper thin. People were playing Yahtzee in next room and I could tell how many dice they were throwing each time. The place smelled of smoke. Room clean but very dated. Bedding clean but sheets and blanket awkwardly arranged. View out window was of a wall. Had to go into bar to check in and back into bar to get wifi password.

Everything was good, but one thing that was not good was that when I opened the lid to use the kettle, it was so dirty that I couldn't use it. The moment I saw the dirty kettle, I felt so bad and wondered if other places were dirty too.

Check in was easy and being above the pub made it nice and easy for dinner. Great location and comfortable for what it was.

I always stay at the Reef as it is convenient to what i have and want to do while there, so thank you for always accomodating me...

We liked that it was quiet and we could park our car and walk inside unit easily no stairs in our room Although some rooms have stairs. Room Was clean except for air conditioner which we cleaned vent under the shower as it smelt musty. Nice linen, mattress on the firmer side not the best. Great meals at hotel. We have stayed here a few times and enjoy it. Much cheaper than airlie beach.

Environnement peu propice au repos (notre chambre donnait sur la cour du restaurant (avec musique). À déconseiller si souhait de repos. Pas d'endroit manifestement calme (route très passante) et clients très bruyants Pas conseillé pour une nuit de repos. Bien situé/points de collecte pour activités

Reef Gateway Hotel was brilliant! Great value for money, and even though our room was budget category we had a comfortable safe stay thank you so much staff and managers Also the evening meal we had at the Hotel was fresh and delicious

If you want to sleep in stained sheets that won’t get changed the duration of your stay and listen to pub music until 9:30pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends then this place is for you. No one answered reception phone the times I called. Had to go and buy toilet paper because we were given 1 roll for 6 nights. Bathroom was mouldy and the shower door didn’t close properly and flooded the bathroom. Only saving grace was that the bed was comfy.

Carpet needs urgent repair or replacement. No toaster in the room.
