Suited our requirements

It was good for an overnight stay. It's an older property, but the room was clean and comfortable. Our car park was right at the back door. The front door opens onto a verandah and there are stairs to walk down to the Bistro etc in the hotel. If the stairs are an issue, you can also go out the back door and walk around to the Bistro via a concrete pathway. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had a good meal in the Bistro. Good value for the price.

Nice location and ambience

It was comfortable and affordable. Suited our needs. The reception girl was excellent and had the room ready early for us as we had to change and go to a wedding by the usual check in time.

Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility is a bit older such that there are many things that are well worn. But the room was comfortable and quiet. The restaurant served passable fare at a reasonable price. Overall a decent value. Location was a bit far from Airlie Beach. I’m glad we rented a car. That made getting around much easier.

Everything is good. Large rooms. Parking is right outside if you are on ground level. Curtains let some light in but will be going back for sure.

Great service

This motel did the job for a two night stay. On the plus side the room was very spacious, had a microwave and fridge. The motel is attached to a bar with inside and outside dinning space and the food is good value for money and we enjoyed our meal. If you like slot machines, playing Pool, watching sport on TV, there is a dedicated bar and this is the place for you. On the negative side I found the room was "tired", for example, it had gaps around the doors, a cracked sink, very worn floor tiles in the shower room and generally felt grubby. It did however have a good refurbished shower!

The room was pretty clean. A little bit of dust on the walls. Lady at reception was really nice and friendly. Only problem I had was other hotel guests but that has nothing to do with the managers or the owner of the establishment
