Very friendly and helpful host

Couple très sympathique et attentionnés envers les clients. La propreté des chambres et salle de bain irroprochables. Je recommande qualité prix top.

A gem of a hotel, clean, comfortable, warm, good breakfast and dinner, easy for parking, right in the town centre, 3 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly, welcoming owners and pleasant staff, very reasonably priced. I look forward to staying longer on a future visit. This is a good base for the D-Day trail, a seaside break, Caen and Bayeux (tapestry). Good choice of restaurants outwith the hotel too.

We stayed one night before our early ferry the next morning. When we arrived in Lion sur Mer on the Sunday we found that nearly all the restaurants were closed for annual holidays. We understood from the hotel description that they had a bar and did ‘snacks’ so we resigned ourselves to a liquid evening meal. How wrong we were! We had the choice of tapas board, salads, steak and chips. The food was wonderful so if you are staying do have a ‘snack’ in the bar - you wont regret it. Our room was clean and comfortable and as we were only staying one night we booked a small room that was perfectly adequate. We would certainly go back again and stay longer next time.

Attention hôtel qui n’est pas en front de mer, mais sur une route. Le grand lit est une 190 de long (attention si vous êtes grand) et peu large. Petit déjeuner finit à 10:00 même le dimanche matin. Rien en libre service, dommage. Pas même Un café. Sinon propre et peu cher pour le coin. Restaurant en face sympathique et bon. Mer au bout d’un chemin en face.

Les propriétaires sont particulièrement tournés vers le client avec simplicité et efficacité. Séjour très agréable donc

We stayed in early September, so not peak season. The owners are very helpful. Breakfast is excellent value if you want it. The hotel is very convenient for the local facilities and for the beach. It is easy to find being on the main coast road.

Andre was helpful with our late arrival. We booked small doubles which were perfect for the one night. I’d book a larger room if sharing for a longer period. Hotel was very clean and beds very comfortable - I had a great nights sleep. Will definitely return.

Waren als Familie da, die Inhaber waren super freundlich und haben einem immer zu rat da gestanden, Frühstück war frisch, regional und gut in der Auswahl der Produkte. Zimmer und Bad waren immer sauber und neu renoviert Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen und es weiter empfehlen.

The property was beautiful, a quick 5 min walk to the beach. The staff were incredibly kind and such wonderful hosts. The petit déjeuner offered was so great, they offered a beautiful array of fresh fruits, baked goods and so much more. We would absolutely recommend this place to others!

De passage dans la région, notre choix s'est fait au hasard. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour. La propreté de la chambre était impeccable, le service excellent. Pour notre dîner, c'est une cuisine simple mais efficace. Service un peu long.

L accueil et la gentillesse des propriétaires, près de la plage, petit déjeuner excellent et facile pour se garer ( parking public à côté ).

Great place to stay near Caen. The hotel was so friendly and accommodating, even with our late arrival. Rooms were spotless and bed very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Accueil sympa, bon rapport qualité prix

Perfect room with charm, and a lovely window with a view of the church. It was small but lovely, and a great price, plus a short walk to the beach. Get a croissant across the road, they are top notch.
