Cleanliness

We enjoyed the beach and the hotel grounds; the staff was helpful, patient and friendly. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. You'll love "Polly," the resident parrot. This was a great location from which to explore the entire island over a week. Our only complaint is that our dinner served there was very slow, and when it finally arrived, it was overcooked. I don't think this is a regular occurrence, though. I do recommend Sunset Shores for your stay on St. Vincent, whether you like to get out and explore the island or just enjoy Villa Beach, where the hotel is located.

Sunset shores was very clean, welcoming, and had friendly staff. The food was delicious & reasonably priced. Housekeeping kept the room clean & stocked daily. We stayed for a week on a family vacation, and wished we could’ve stayed longer!

I often day dream about my stay at this hotel, it felt like home away from home. The rooms were clean, comfortable and house keeping came everyday with a tidy and fresh towels. The staff were accommodating, the restaurant food was nice. It’s about 16 mins walk to a supermarket and other restaurants along the board walk. The hotel grounds were lovely and don’t even get me started on the beach. I’ve been to many beaches in different countries, but the beauty of this beach was astonishing. There is no doubt I’ll be back to St Vincent again and I will book this hotel every time!

Beautiful. Amazing. Friendly. The best.

This was a very nice small hotel. The staff was so friendly and competent from the front desk to security. The bed was so comfortable, rivaling well-known 5 star resort hotel beds. Everything went smoothly even before arriving, arranging an airport transfer all the way through departure. The room was great as were the amenities. Nice selection of tea in the room, plus coffee. Washcloths provided and towels were fluffy. The only disappointment was the restaurant menu and food. The basics were good at breakfast, but the fresh grilled fish at dinner was not well-prepared. So, I just ate at restaurants nearby, which were easy to walk to.

We really enjoyed our stay here . Great staff from top to bottom . Seeing the people arriving from the cruise ships was was exciting.

It was great

The rooms are comfortable, although there was no water for one of the days we were there. This issue was poorly communicated. Food at the restaurant is OK, but wait times are very excessive, even with very few guests in the hotel. The area leading to the beach is nice, but there should be an organized beach clean-up between the hotels in the area, a lot of plastic debris. Staff were friendly and helpful, but somehow limited.

We throughly enjoyed the accommodations for our work trip. We booked an ocean view room which was lovely and comfortable. The conference room and onsite staff were well organized and on schedule. Food service / breaks went smoothly and overall the workshop was productive and well run. The food at the onsite restaurant was great - we dined there multiple times. The staff was attentive, kind and fun. We walked as far as Blue Lagoon and popped in to the (multiple) restaurants along the way. Everyone was very nice and happy to chat. We travel often but traveling to the Caribbean (West Indies) is our favorite - island time and life, soca music, walking around, swimming in beautiful water, jumping on a local bus instead of taxi, & spending time with locals. 10/10

The hotel staff is friendly but the hotel is very run down and would need some love. The beds are tiny.

Reception was quick and everyone was very friendly. Everywhere we looked, the grounds, restaurant, bars, and our room was really clean and fresh looking. This was our third visit and we will definitely return again.

Great location with easy access to beach, boardwalk and transportation to the city. Uncomfortable bed and slow service at restaurant
