The couple running the place were helpful with any requests such as towels etc. The room itself is very small with an air conditioning unit that is set to arctic with no ability to change the temperature, the shower has no closure so the small bathroom is wet and the floor gets dirty very easily with no way to clean it (possibly may have been dirty to start with) Location is great, right next to the main street

The floors were so dirty The drains were mouldy Kettle needed to b thrown away or at least put some vinegar in it , CLEAN IT Doona was yellow and not in a cover Cobwebs around bathroom window. Dirty marks on walls and screen door I don’t think anyone has bent down and clean anything low in a long time I stayed 1 night if I had to stay longer I would have moved out . Cleanliness is next to godliness

The staff at the Wingham were so accommodating. WOTIF/Expedia booked our stay incorrectly on two fronts and the Wingham made it as seamless as possible by finding us a room to suit all of our needs and requirements. Thank you!!

Safe and quiet

We had a great stay, perfect for our needs. Great communication from the management team with a lovely confirmation call on the morning of our stay, and great check in-check out communication. We loved that continental breakfast can be delivered to your room in the morning - it evoked very fond memories of stays in country motels as a kid. The rooms have been renovated, and are some of the best country motel rooms that we have stayed (we’ve seen them all!). The bathroom renovations in particular are excellent. Wingham Hotel is located across the street, and the hotel is located within walking distance of the Main Street/park. We’ll be back

Stayed 4 nights and had to ask for more toilet paper, soap and get the rubbish emptied. They didn’t service the room once during our stay. The whole bathroom is in desperate need of an upgrade.

Friendly and efficient service

Nice motel in a very quiet town. Room wasn't very big but was clean and staff was very helpful. Two min walk to the pubs and other shops. Five min walk to the river and bushwalk.

Very hot room (6) Airconditioner battled all afternoon and night. Bed rolls around a lot and doesnt stay in one spot. Leaves everywhere outside at entry and all through doormat. No breeze so hadn’t just happened that day. Shower was very good. Lady at reception who greeted us was very nice. It met our needs.

The staff were friendly, however the accommodation was not as the advertised photo depicted. I was a very disappointed at the size of the room for two people and the fact that they changed me an extra $30 per night for a bed for my son. Also I had to leave a day early because of a family emergency and they did not even offer me a credit or a refund. I would have been happy with even half. It is half an hours drive from the highway, not 8 minutes like I was told. Ok if you want a quiet little country town, but I suggest you don’t go on a weekend as nothing was opened, except Cole’s, pub, and the club.
