Poor lack of communication. Villa was never ready for me and my husband. I was stuck walking around Montego Bay for half the day not knowing anything or where to go. I actually was lucky to have a driver take me to the villa where we were outside for 10 minutes blowing the horn and no one came out. The property was locked and gated so I couldn’t even knock on the doors.. 2 dogs came out barking at me husband, I got scared and we finally left.. Luckily I was able to book an all inclusive resort last minute that was nearby. Ann the owner contacted me close to around 6pm. Mind you check in was at 3pm.. She was apologizing for not getting back to me sooner she wasn’t around, so she didn’t see my calls and messages until after. This is a terrible way to do business. 2 tourist walking around with luggage in dangerous streets, I mean come on.. I was so happy when we got to the resort and so relieved. Thanks to the resort me and my husband spent our 1 year anniversary in comfort and was so grateful. Now it’s going to be so difficult for us to get our money back because this was all done through Expedia. I need to get a refund for this nonsense. Never again.. I saw the Villa as being a cheaper way to our stay, but not worth it!!

The owner of the property is also the caretaker of the property. She needs a staff and also need proper access to the compound for guest going in or out. She also has mood swings, so you never know what side you’re going to get from her that day.

Property has beautiful views just not enough dining.

Hostess and maintenance man very friendly and accommodating and they’re wonderful cooks both. Pool is great. The view from my BR was awesome. The springtime breezes are wonderful. BurgAnn Villa was not currently listed in the computer at the airport when I arrived so it was difficult getting an address to the location but hostess said she was/is going to rectify this soon. She told me that her establishment had undergone one or two name changes in the past. Also, when you sleep with the windows open at night like I did expect mosquitoes. Maintenance did spray for mosquitoes which did help. I’d go again because the price is good. I ate a lot of snacks but one could always go to the local store to buy groceries and cook them on a gas stove which I’m not used to. The two female dogs are friendly!
