We arrived late and got our room that was without toilet. After 2 hours of sleep we where rushed out of bed and told we had to leave without any explanation. They arranged a new and better hotel but a very strange experience

My stay was very short, I checked and refused to stay the night, because I did not feel comfortable, there was a bad smell and did not feel welcomed.

The property is overall very convenient for someone traveling through Iceland, needing a place to lay their head. Very happy about the included breakfast and airport transfer because it saved us a nice little chunk of money before we are off to our next destination. The place is overall well maintained and staff is generally attentive and on site. Would definitely stay again while passing through Iceland.

This place was perfectly adequate, just very simple. The rooms were small as were the bathrooms. Breakfast's just cereal and toast with milk. Overall though it was clean and quiet so we were good with it

Bathroom shower head was broken . Room was vary tiny but breakfast was good . Love the airport transportation service .

Everything was very clean and the breakfast options and times offered exceeded expectations! I would have liked more transparency about the shared bathroom but overall everything was just was we needed as a last night stay before our early airport departure.

It’s not a 5 star resort but the great things about this is the lovely team, the ease from the airport, easy to navigate and get breakfast. I liked it I’d stay again.

I chose this location because of its proximity to the airport and their advertisement of round trip airport transfers. A day before my stay I got an email stating that they would provide either one airport pickup OR one airport drop off, but not round trip! I asked for airport pickup since my flight would get in after midnight. They never responded so I called the day of my flight to confirm the transfer and was told their last pickup was at 11pm so they would not be getting me from the airport. Had to find my own way to the guesthouse. And when I asked for transfer for the airport the following morning they gave me the number to a taxi service. Convenient if the airport hotel is fully booked (easily walkable to food and shopping area), but will NOT honor roundtrip airport transfers.

Edullinen perusmajoitus Keflavikissa kävelymatkan päässä lentokentästä. Jaetut kylpyhuone-ja wc-tilat, omatoimiaamiainen, toimivat varsin mukavasti, kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Lentokenttäkuljetusten aikataulu oli itselle hiukan jäykkä kun kuljetukset vartin matkalle olivat klo 7.40 ja klo 9. Lennon siirtyessä jouduttiin heräämään kovin aikaisin ja istumaan sitten lentokentällä useampi tunti....

It was convenient

People should know that this is a "hostel", not a hotel. Baths are down the hall and may be occupied when needed. Shower stalls were very tight and the floor slippery when wet. The fine print" was not disclosed until after the booking was made. Transport to/from the airport (several miles) cost over $40.00 if the host is not available. Communication with the host was awlful. Phone calls and emails were not responded to. No check-in info was received from host until the day before our arrival. Since our plane arrived late in the day, we literally didn't know how access our room until the day before our arrival. The basic "buffet breakfast was pretty sparse. On one day there was no bread left to make toast. Once there, the experience got much better. the host was helpful with advice, etc. The return ride to the airport was appreciated and saved us $40.

We liked the room for the one night we stayed in it. Beds were not really comfortable (too soft for me) and i left with a back ache. The breakfast is nice and complete and there is a big shared bathroom which is clean. The bedroom smelled a bit stuffy

Staff helpful ,location nearest airport ,shuttle transfer provided.Simple breakfast start at 3am. We can see the northern lights infront of guesthouse when we stayed . Highly recommended

Since it is a guesthouse you don't really have much contact with anyone than at check-in. When I was booking a room I wanted a reasonable priced room that made me feel like I was in Iceland. It was great place to stay. The breakfast was 3 AM-10AM breakfast hours and it was self service. Of course that meant that you has to make it from the options that they offered and clean up after yourself which was fine and most people did. There was no daily housekeeping which was fine for no longer then we were there. I would like to go back to Iceland again. I would definitely stay here again.
