The property is very nice. Looked very new inside and very clean. There were a few hiccups. The shower cut off for about 30 minutes in the middle of a shower. There were no linens for the sofa bed. The bar and restaurant are closed on Monday and Tuesday and I wasn't advised of this until I had already arrived in the UK. If it were not for those things, I would have given 5 stars.

Lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet village. Pub closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so needed to drive or a 20 minute walk to find somewhere to eat. There is a nice village shop across the road. The pub breakfast and dinner were both good on Wednesday. Tbh it was really nice to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful and it seems many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in IOW. Would recommend, especially if you have a car. Owners helpful and easily reached on Whatsapp. Good walks nearby.

Bar was well stocked, food was good, parking and access was very good, room was very good and staff were excellent.

Very difficult to find, but when we did the white lion was exceptional. Beat expectations?

We stayed here two nights. It’s close to the coastal path so great for walkers and dog lovers. Breakfast and evening meals were really good. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

There is their own car park in the inn. When we checked in, the staffs were nice and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, especially the bathroom.

Everything was excellent with friendly staff, lovely peaceful location, great food and the rooms were in great condition. Only faults were the wooden windows were slightly falling apart and weathering with concern about it being secure and enough but that was only thing wrong. Also when we had issue with Television working, the staff were quick and flexible to dealing with issue to ensure it was working again. Overall 10/10

The room was very clean & tidy & the bathroom had nice soaps, shower caps, shower gels & body lotion nicely presented. Staff were helpful & friendly.

Very relaxing days

We cannot fault anything during our stay, hospitality was great every member of the team that we came across were friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was really nice, clean & fresh, bed was comfortable too. Breakfast was good, lots of and freshly cooked. We also ate in the evenings and again a good variety, fresh and good value for money. A shoutout to the chef 👍 Bar staff were amazing too, always checking in to see everything was good and they were really friendly and approachable. We had an amazing stay.

Really nice spot, great parking that feels secure. Rooms nice and comfortable. Very nice stay I would stay again. Would have been better if the bed settee was not made up as I was a single traveler, rather had as a settee rather than a made up double bed. Great bacon !! Was super tasty. Breakfast was very good.

We had a lovely double room with a sofa bed for our boys. The room was spacious with a lovely ensuite. Breakfast was delicious and included gluten free options. A nice climbing frame/ slide in the garden. Friendly staff.

We only spent one night at the White Lion, but had a very enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, clean and well looked after. The bathroom was modern with everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was very tasty with quite a few choices, we also had dinner, which was just as good. It is in a quite location, which was just what we wanted.

Fantastic experience all round - we checked in easily with a warm welcome from the staff. Our room was lovely, very clean, comfy bed and great decor. Little extras were provided too - the portable toothbrush & paste, shower cap and shaving kit, which was a lovely addition, especially if you've forgotten one of these. There was a coffee machine with a variety of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. USB socket as well as normal plug socket. Internet access was easy too. A useful folder in the room full of helpful information. The bar and restaurant were really nice too. Lovely decor and a good selection of food and drinks.
