It was a beautiful and serene location The staff/owners were amazingly friendly and helpful. We received a tour of the properties Orchard which was fantastic. We had a firepit and a BBQ at a disposal. I would highly recommend this location

We stayed at their family villa. The house was clean, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose and her son Rodale were so kind and helpful. Rod showed us around the family land and the farm, and we drank fresh coconut water. We ate local foods prepared in a lovely setting on the property. We hope to be back some day. If you come, don't miss the ATM cave tour - amazing adventure!

Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife.

I recently stayed at The Cabins at Monkey falls in Cayo and had a great time! The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially when I mentioned that the initial bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. They promptly exchanged it for us, and the new bed made a significant difference in our comfort. Aside from that, the atmosphere was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent service and willingness to ensure guests have a pleasant experience.

My son and I stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. The staff is very warm and caring and we’re available if we needed anything. All of the food they served was delicious and we loved having a small kitchen to prepare meals when we wanted. The area is beautiful and safe. You probably want a rental car unless you like taking taxis. The hot water is not the hottest but when it’s 90 degrees it did not bother us.

The cabins are perfect just a few minutes drive outside of San Ignacio but feels like in the middle of nowhere. Rose and Rod are awesome hosts helping with booking of last minute tours and any info we needed. The grounds around the cabin are perfect. Thanks for a great stay

I loved this. It is out of town so it is quiet and there is easy parking. It is on the way to Caracol so my tour operator picked me up. The tour operators know where it is and it was super safe. There is also a kitchen I didn't realize was onsite for guests only and you can pre-order breakfast and dinner.

O local se encontra bem em meio à mata. A simplicidade, a decoração e o trato direto com o proprietário transmitem uma sensação de se hospedar na casa de um membro da família, não em um hotel, inclusive porque não há serviço de arrumação de quarto e o café da manhã não estava disponível. A propriedade fica a cerca de 10 minutos do centro de San Ignacio, mas não dá para ir caminhando e não é fácil encontrar táxis na cidade. O administrador, Ron, foi muito solícito e nos levou em seu próprio carro ao restaurante, e na volta nos auxiliou a encontrar um ATM e mercado para uma pequena compra, mesmo sendo domingo. De forma geral, o local é bastante quente, então não conseguimos aproveitar a varanda ou a área externa; no interior do quarto, o ar condicionado foi bastante eficaz para manter o conforto térmico. O quarto estava bem limpo, é espaçoso e conta com uma pequena cozinha muito bem equipada. Apesar da mata ao redor, não havia insetos no interior do quarto, pois todas as janelas são teladas. Foi uma estadia agradável.

Amazing little get away hidden in the rainforest near charming little town cristo rey! The cabins are clean and cozy and the staff were friendly and very helpful. If you’re looking for a spot off the beaten path while in San Ignacio you will love it!!!

Loved the big screened in porch, so relaxing. We were able to cook breakfast before heading out for adventures in the mountain pine ridge and archaeological sites. Close to restaurants for dinner

I would definitely come back to this place again as the perfect jumping off point for a trip into mountain pine ridge ... the staff was friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious and made to order ... 3 thumbs up

The entire experience from making the reservation, to checking out, was seamless and couldn't have been easier. The cabin was spotless, spacious and well furnished. The screened porch was perfect! The kitchen was beyond our needs, but very nice. A great home base for checking out the various attractions in the area.

We stopped in for one night and absolutely loved this place. It's a not far from shopping and dining, and the owners were great. Would recommend to anyone wanting quite stay not far from town. We will absolutely be visiting the cabins at monkey fall again!

When we arrived Expedia hadn't sent my information to the Cabins, which had the potential to be quite the disaster. However, the could who owns the place were extremely accommodating, offered us the same rate that Expedia did, and got us in and ready to go with no hassle. The units are BEAUTIFUL. Everything was absolutely fantastic.

The place was clean, the only issue was the bathroom Toilet was leaking so there was a pee pee smell in the bathroom
