We had a pleasant stay here and the weather was good to us. The location is lovely right on the beach. The sea slightly too warm for me and the was reflected in algae in the water in some places but this is a shallow reef so to be expected. There is no staff on hand at night which shouldn’t be a problem but we did have issues with a bunch of people partying until 3:30 am with no one to police it. The restaurant staff were lovely but not as attentive as we would have liked. Despite these minor issues I would recommend this property if you are looking at staying in this area of the island.

I still need a refund for the hotel I paid for. Amara sent an email a few days before the reservation to say they didn’t have space and I needed to cancel with Expedia for a refund. I couldn’t find any options for canceling the reservation and receiving a refund. If you could help me with processing this it would be greatly appreciated!

My reservation was canceled the day I was to check in due to Expedia overbooking the hotel! No apologies nothing!
