Absolutely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in Ocean Shores. The unit was very clean, the staff were incredible and we had an excellent time. The pool was very clean and crispy. The employees work so hard. Every where you looked someone was paying close attention to details. The walk to the beach is short and stunning. On a clear night you can see the sun set from your private balcony. We did see a black bear heading toward the garbages but she ran off quickly. The staircase is kind of narrow so be careful.

Everything was excellent on this property. All staff were really nice and accommodating. Thanks to Shannon, Genny for being so helpful and nice to us. Thanks to Efren as well and all the staff. My kids really enjoyed swimming, playing and going to the beach. We will be going back for sure to surfcrest next vacation.

We enjoyed the pool area, playground and BBQ facilities. There was a broken down or abandoned 5th Wheel at the entrance to the property that was green and decrepit, there was garbage in the driveway that appeared to be knocked over by a stray but was never cleaned up during our 3 day stay and the pull out couch in our unit was so uncomfortable that we the grandparents got no sleep for 2 nights and found it hard to be present to create fond memories for our grandchildren. Also the DVD player was not working the first night and it was too late to ask for a replacement. We would recommend a TV in the bedroom so we could sleep there when kids go to sleep and still be able to watch TV. Rather than having to sleep on the pull out couch.

Stayed with the family and all the kids loved it! Would recommend for 4th of July weekend for sure. Will return!!

We will DEFINITELY be back! The rooms are a little outdated but all the amenities make this place a 10/10!

We loved our stay and will be back next summer. Great place! Family friendly and close to grocery stores, shopping, and fantastic taco trucks. Very easy check in process. Beautiful views, and awesome swimming areas with rafts. We enjoyed paddle boarding, fishing, and swimming. Incredible sunsets! BBQ grills available for use. Very clean and well kept property!

Went for a family trip for 4 days with my kids brother and sister in law and niece and nephew. so many things to do there at the resort, the walk to the beach was quick and easy and the drive to ocean shores was just a few minutes away. The people are so nice and accommodating and friendly. Pet friendly also. It was fantastic!

Truly a slice of peace and serenity tucked away on the coast!!! We will be returning many times!!

We stayed for one night and had a great time. Loved being able to use the kayaks and enjoyed the heated pool and game rooms/DVDs. Wi-Fi is very spotty and the cell reception is non-existent but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Second time here and the staff are as friendly and helpful as I remember from a couple years ago. Great location and quiet. We love the incremental improvements. Super low key place. Like a throwback to another era.

Property had easy 15 min walk to beach, pool was nice, jetted tub not very strong—couldn’t tell if it was on. Game room upstairs would have been more fun if the video games worked and the large screen tv worked. Nice patio, but no seating. Rooms were adequate, outdated by about 40 years. Upstairs master bedroom had patio with no furniture. No bathroom upstairs so had to go down pebble-surfaced spiral staircase to the small bathroom. Very small kitchenette they managed to put a table and four chairs in it so if you wanted to open the oven or fridge, people had to move. I expected more, and feel it was overpriced for what you got. Our family friends had the unit next to us and their heat did not work. I would consider going back if it was remodeled and amenities were working. It probably was a great place in the 80s or early 90s.

I loved that they had everything, I brought my own utensils and and things to cook with, but when I got their everything was already accommodated for us..You can use their kayaks and canoes for free. It’s honestly so peaceful a very nice family environment with so much to do..We really enjoyed our stay, and plan to return again!!

It’s our second stay on this property and service is still superior. Great customer service exists here. Lots of amenities catered for the whole family so plan your trip ahead. Will definitely include this on our yearly weekend vacation. Watch out Surfcrest, we will keep coming back :)

this place is incredible. only complaint is their terribly inconsistent wifi. Lost wifi capabilities for my computer, but also to the smart tv, so i ended up not being able to really use the tv or take work calls.

As a retired couple enjoying a few days at the beach, we probably aren’t the target market for this property. I would think a family reunion situation or a kid-centric vacation would be best suited for a longer stay at this aging resort. After we made peace with the fact that we’d have to brave a very steep spiral staircase to get to the bedroom (and the only bathroom was downstairs), we decided to make the best of it and try to enjoy the wet area. We got to the pool to find a big group of people with very noisy children taking up the hot tub. We gave them about 20 minutes and checked again to see if we could get in, and they were still there so we said forget it and went back to the room. It’s also a fairly long walk to the beach, and since it was raining we didn’t even venture out. Just slept and left before taking a shower the next morning because we just couldn’t stomach the old shower and bathroom situation. All in all, the staff seemed friendly and accessible, but as I said… we aren’t the target market.

This place is situated in a beautiful area and they have made so many fun things available for the family. Kayaks for use up and down the channel, campfire in the evenings, pool area with dry sauna and hot tub are fun activities. The path to the beach was flooded due to heavy rain so it was fun walking on a “boardwalk” of planks and limbs to get across the puddles. The lodging was good for 4 people, but I would say that is the max amount for the size of the space. All the beds were up a winding staircase and the bathroom is downstairs, so if you have people who use the bathroom in the middle of the night it can be precarious. Overall we enjoyed this place and they allow dogs. The people were all friendly and very helpful.
