Another perfect stay! Excellent rooms, staff and cleanliness!

Airy and cool 🙌 which was much needed in the heat wave. Modern and stylish appearance. Staff were okay, nothing outstanding but as expected for what you pay. Could leave bags with them as wasn’t time to check in which was helpful. Room had good enough space and was clean. Hairdryer, coffee/tea facilities but I’d rather have a fridge in weather like this and no iron. Large shower but the shower tray didn’t drain very well at all and so it was difficult for 2 people to shower one after another and it did smell a little of damp/stale water. Lush pillows. And they provided an extra fan for the room which we were grateful for. Parking good at £10 but get there early.

Good location - staff are so friendly & helpful. Breakfast has a good variety of continental along with traditional cooked. Car park is a good size

Second time staying here and I cannot praise enough. Helpful staff, great breakfast and evening meal. Comfortable bed, clean rooms a gym and great bar.

Small but comfortable rooms. Breakfast was great, dinner menu pretty poor. Staff are lovely and overall it’s great value and so handy for the theatre.

If a town has a Moxy then that's where I will stay. They are so cool and like all of them, this one has a lovely big bar and seating area in the foyer. The rooms are great and everything works. And the staff all seem to love their work and are helpful and friendly. Top class.

Had a fantastic one night stay as we had tickets for the theatre. Slept really well on comfy beds in a quiet and temperature controlled room. Lovely

Everything was perfect except cleaning area. We came on 28th June and next day no one swapped our towels as it was smell coming so on 30th i asked 1 cleaning staff lady to swap it even she was also shocked that why no one changed. Bedsheet was dirty and when someone came to clean that person just placed opposite because dirty part was under thats very bad. I think cleaning team needs to check this that how their staff working.

Very quick and easy check-in. Comfortable bed & pillows. I like the lighting scheme. A sparse hanging space but quite adequate for transients on the move. Sufficient plugs available. Breakfast was pretty good. I would be happy to stay again.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at the Moxy in Plymouth. The location is absolutely perfect and made exploring during our short trip incredibly easy. One of our favorite features was the 24/7 bar, it was the perfect spot to catch up with friends late at night when everything else nearby was closed. The hotel has a really cool, lively vibe. The rooms are simple but provide all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. A huge shoutout to the staff, they were incredibly helpful, and when we had a quick issue with our TV, a team member sorted it out straight away. Just a heads-up that the on-site parking can be a little tight, but there are plenty of alternative parking facilities close by if you need them. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent staff

Overall the stay was good just a couple of maintenance issues, the air con would not reduce and the room was extremely hot and the shower trap didn’t drain very well and filled up to overflow into the bathroom area.

I loved the hotel and the style But while we stayed we had a fire alarm go off at 2am, Which I can say was extremely traumatic thinking there is a fire, The fact it happened wasn’t the issue It was the fact that it went off lasted a few minutes and then went silent and the lights went back out in the room We are all on the corridor wondering and asking each other what to do.there was no announcement no one came round to say what to do, I couldn’t sleep because my heart was racing and my head was worrying about what if the fire alarm had broken It was only because I went looking to find someone who was opening all the fire doors who told me it was a false alarm someone had been smoking in their room And I hope they get a fine for the inconvenience caused, And if I’m honest I had thought we may have received an e-mail from the hotel offering a discount on another stay. As the one thing you expect is a good nice sleep and I got 4 hours sleep. I understand it wasn’t their fault but it did cause the whole hotel a massive inconvenience for everyone staying And I can’t imagine how any children should have felt having to go through that.

Room was good with everything your need. Need was very comfortable and room was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of hot and cold offerings. Parking is good with it's own carpark. The only downside was we were woken at 02.20 on the morning by the fire alarm going off due to somebody smoking on their room. Not the hotels fault just some inconsiderate guest with no respect for other guests in the hotel so can't really blame the hotel for that . At least we know the fire alarm works😄
