we enjoyed our 2night stay , room 116 is the best stramnge as they only have 41 rooms, as recomended by Tyler ( A future manager ) who was on reception ,plus he was realy helpful on letting us know what was happening in the hotel and surrounding areas eg Bexhill etc. Not a massive hotel ,but due to really hot weather we made full use of the terrace and private garden area. One complaint !! the shower tray is very slippery when wet.A non slip tray would be safer. Otherwise EXCELLANT two night stay.

Brillant location and staff very good

We had a two-night stay. I thought the half-board option was very good value, and the food was well cooked and presented. But the stand out feature was how well the staff have been trained. They really made the trip - polite and engaged and followed up on everything really quickly. I was very impressed with them.

We had lovely stay breakfast overlooking the beach was fantastic. Special thanks to Alli for making us feel welcomed at the hotel. Can’t wait to find an excuse to stay again

Only stayed for about half an hour the staff were excellent but had to wait an hour for new room with air conditioning and by that time my 93year old mother who had altzeimers had got herself too upset so we had to leave

We had booked a one night stay. When we checked out we were asked if we had ordered 2 bottles of wine at dinner the night before, which we hadn’t. After an hour, a member of staff phoned me and questioned again about the wine and now asked if we had a cheese board as well, we hadn’t. Very poor communication from dining staff to reception resulting in our wedding anniversary celebration spoilt. The hotel has potential to be good.

The staff were all helpful, they informed us of 2 wedding’s during our stay and gave us a lovely room away from any noise, food is excellent and the position of the hotel on the beach can’t be beaten. We will definitely visit again

We were situated in the Sea House property but would have preferred the main building but the staff were very accommodating in assisting with our needs.

It was disappointing to realised we needed to pay an additional fee to use the spa despite being booked into the hotel and booking 1.5hr treatments. Facilities in the spa are limited ie no main pool for 2 hrs of use. For dinner I needed to ask the waitress to sweep the floor around the table which was very messy. For breakfast being such a sunny day it was a shame immediate access was not possible from the restaurant itself. The paintwork in the bedroom ie skirting and paper lining lifting.

Located next to the beach, our room had a sea view. Clean and bright room, comfortable bed and a largish walk-in shower. Good Sunday lunch if a bit pricey. Staff pleasant.

Staff were really rude especially in the restaurant and at reception (brunette lady). We didn’t feel like it was a good experience and would not recommend Rooms are also dated and too small

Fantastic Day from start to finish!! Highly recommended. We can’t wait to go back for our next trip!

We had a 1 night stay here for our anniversary. Such a lovely hotel and location. All staff including those in the spa were a credit.

This is our 2nd stay this year at the Cooden Beach. Lovely hotel with friendly staff and excellent food. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great view from the sun terrace so relaxing. Nothing is to much trouble a five star rating for the property food and staff. We shall be back

Nice place on the beach. Rooms adequate. Restaurant area was lovely. Included hot and small buffet breakfast was nice enough but had I paid £22 for it, I would think I’d overpaid.

Had a fabulous stay. Hotel was comfortable, clean, modern. Food was good and plentiful. Our family room was spacious and housekeeping very attentive to detail. Loved our stay.

Lovely to able to walk straight onto the beach. The staff were so friendly couldn't do enough for you!
