We enjoyed our stay. I loved that there was both an indoor and outdoor pool. Also, a little splash pad outside for the kids. This location is perfect. It's walking distance to the beach. There's also a Walmart across the street. Restaurants are nearby as well. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I just wish there were more items to choose from during breakfast and wish they ended at 10:30. Another con is that room service came by every other day. So if you needed more towels, you had to call the front desk.

It’s a great hotel in the perfect location , Walmart is next door, they have breakfast , and a gym. A nice big smart TV, great quality toiletries. They dropped the ball with the main course. The bed sheets were so filled with LENT that it was scrapping my legs and was uncomfortable. The pillow cases literally smelled like DIRTY DOG, which they allow. I called for housekeeping and front desk, no response. So I paid +200$ to sleep in a dirty, stinky bed on my birthday. Then, despite me telling the front desk about my late check out upon my arrival and having a sign on my door, the housekeepers walked into my room, noticed I was there, walked out, walked back in, and walked out again. WHO DOES THAT?????? So yeah, no.

Clean and comfortable. Free parking. Quick check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to a beach and a Walmart. Safe and clean area. Traveled with kids and they enjoyed the pool.

Excellent property

Check in was smooth and we received a text later asking us if we needed anything. Other than that, not much interaction. The hotel’s proximity to the beach was nice, as well as to restaurants. The bedding was low quality and scratchy. We had a room with bunk beds which ended up not being ideal for our teenage boys, but all in all we had a decent experience.

Room 403 - as soon as we entered the room we could smell a strong musty/mildew smell in the bathroom.Bed was very comfortable but my pillow had separated filling in pillow. Friendly staff. Luggage carts are brilliant!

We stay here everytime when we go to Destin for travel ball! Please free breakfast ever! Pools are great and outside fun activities for kids.

Our stay was very disappointing. I am a Hilton honors member and always choose Hilton. We chose tru in Destin for our family vacation. The room was absolutely fitly. The walls were covered in dirt and disgusting. The floors look like they never been mopped. My kids feet were black form dirty within 5 minutes of being in the room. We stayed 3 nights and our room was only cleaned one time. We couldn't be more disappointed with our stay.

We had a great time staying here. The beach was right across the street. We could walk to a couple restaurants, and Walmart was right there for when we need extra supplies. We were only 15-20 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. It was actually really clean. I didn’t have to have much interaction with the staff. The guy working the front desk that said he was from VA Beach was welcoming at check in. The breakfast was the same everyday and pretty bland but it’s fine. The coffee was good. I’d recommend staying here.
