It was a little difficult to find but well worth it when you arrive. The owners were friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely indoor entertaining area as well as an outdoor area and heated pool.

Thank you for the warm welcome, delicious natas, wine, water and tour. The warm pool was beautiful, great view and the common room with kitchen, BBQ and ovens, sofa and big TV were great for a relaxing evening. All renovations have been done with taste and excellent materials. We shall return in the future!

Owned by a family, our hosts at Casa da Pousada were extremely kind and helpful. Our Garmin GPS experienced some major problem initially locating Casa da Pousada, which is within a rural hamlet of twisty narrow lanes off more major routes. We suggest you do not exit off motorway 11 but go directly to Barcelos town then navigate from there or contact Andre for directions. Once there, it is a peaceful haven and there is a convenient mini-mart and cafe within an easy drive. We found Andre's restaurant recommendations very useful.
