This is an older house in Seixal with a historical appeal. Only 4 rooms which makes it very cozy and with our room being on the other side of the house - very private. This is a bed and breakfast, but neither the beds nor the breakfast was any good. Mattresses were worn out and should have been replaced long time ago, which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. Breakfast choices were good, but there was no fresh bread, which in a country like Portugal, was really surprising for us. The toasts that were served tasted like saw dust. We just decided to eat at a local bakery in Sao Vincente (only 10 minutes by car) where they had fresh buns and bread everyday. The house is in a great location and the service was good both from the housekeeper (our room was taken care of everyday and fresh towels were provided) and the owner (answering our questions very promptly). However we would not stay there again due to the beds and breakfast issues mentioned above.

Very bad smell in room. I could pay more to get a better place and this place is not even cheap. Also house was creepy with chapel in it.

Kleinschalige verblijfsmogelijkheid. Authentiek ingericht in een eeuwenoud huis. Uitgebreide keuken om zelf maaltijden klaar te maken. Bij mooi weer buiten ontbijten of 's avonds op het terras zitten in het groen. Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht. Gezellig ontbijten met z'n allen aan één tafel. Verhalen genoeg. Ontbijt zelf is meer dan goed en voldoende. De hulp is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op loopafstand van het strand en de supermarkt. Seixal is een gezellig dorpje met smalle straatjes, enkele winkeltjes en een paar mogelijkheden om iets te gaan eten. Opvallend is de slage waar je espetada kunt kopen die dan meteen buiten op de gril kan

Very cosy facility with library, small chapel and lots of big chairs to relax and read. Room small but very adequate.

The hotel is located in a very old building, and unfortunately the rooms feel quite humid. The breakfast is very basic with limited options. Another downside is the poor soundproofing — you can hear everything happening in the hallways and nearby rooms.

Casa das Videiras is located on a very narrow, windy one-way street. A few feet past the property is a very small free public parking lot with approximately 8 spots. The location in Seixal is pretty great, because it is walking distance to the public beach and natural swimming pools. It is close to the water which means, you don't have to endure much elevation change when walking around. However, because of its proximity to the water, parking can be challenging at any other time than late night, as tourists flock to the water. If you are checking in past dark like we did, have your cell phone light ready, because the entry way is a little dark. Also be prepared to commune with nature... our room's walls and ceiling were stained with dried blood from smashed mosquitos, and I sustained 7 mosquito bites from my knees down (the only part of my body not covered) within 2 minutes at breakfast. My husband also laid his head on the pillow and found himself face to face with a baby lizard (not gecko). Our bathroom was very basic and had some odd smell of Indian coconut curry. But the sunrise was a completely unexpected treat, and the house keeper was very sweet. Breakfast included options like toast with butter and jam, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, ham, cheese, cereal, coffee, tea and juice. We never sat outdoors, but that might actually have fewer mosquitos!

Great spot for the beach, good value for the price. Bed is clean but too soft

Truly the most charming place in the most ideal location. We stayed in room 1, which had an ocean view out the bathroom window and a mountain view from bed. Breakfast was fantastic each day and everything was so clean.

Nous avons séjourner 3 nuits a la Casa. Je vous recommande a 100%. Les chambres sont propres et ce a tout les jours comme dans un hotel. Les lits refais, serviettes de bain nouvelle. La proximités des lieux est tres agréable. La plage de Seixal a 3 min de marches et quelques restaurants tout près. Sinon hésiter pas a vous promenez certain petit resto sont cacher mais tellement bon. Les piscines naturels de porto moniz a 3€ pour l'entrée en vaut le detour.

Easy parking at the back, which is rare in seixal. The black beach is 5min walk! Nice room and house, very quiet neighborhood. I slept windows open to hear the waves! The breakfast is very basic.

Sehr nahe am Strand. Viele Parkplätze. Nette Unterkunft und sehr sauber.

Schön eingerichtetes, kleines 4-Zimmer Hotel in einer alten, sanft und geschmackvoll eingerichteten alten Gutsherren-Villa. Zwei Geh-Minuten von Lava-Pool und Sandstrand entfernt.
