Excellent location.

Ótima localização, quarto confortável. Atendimento muito solicito. Pontos negativos: quarto com pouca iluminação, faltou mais luzes, quarto tava sempre escuro. Elevador quebrado, não atrapalhou mas é importante saber q não está funcionando.

The property is right in the heart of the action but not noisy. Staff is excellent in every way. Breakfast was very nice and included eggs and bacon =)

A very enjoyable stay. The staff were magnificent and incredibly helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is ideally located by the river Douro and there are many eateries by the water front. The metro station Sao Bento is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel as is the main shopping area.

Should be negative stars. Checked in and first thing I did was put property in safe. It made strange noise and would not reopen. Went to front desk and was told guy was at lunch and he would come to room in 30 minutes. We waited an hour, never came. During this time I realized that the room was in really bad shape. Went to front desk and she had key for safe the entire time but left us waiting. I advised that the room was unacceptable and the floor in front of the bathroom was rotted and would sink a couple inches when you walked on it. Not just one board but a large portion of the floor. This was further made unsafe because it was right in front of a glass fixed wall that led into the bathroom. It gave a very unsafe path to bathroom where someone could trip and go through glass. She said there was nothing she could do and no other rooms. Contacted Expedia who contacted the hotel and they were still unwilling to refund us or give us another room. They told Expedia there were no issues with the floor and offered an alternative room. Not True. I have photos and videos that reflects room that I will try to post. Room was bad to the level we found another hotel and were willing to risk paying for two rooms. I imagine they rented to someone else and double collected for 2 days. They also advertised as river view which is really a view of the buildings across the street with a small view of river if you look at angle. Porto is beautiful city - not this hotel!

Enjoyed people watching by the river. Walked over bridge twice. Street music all around. Would go again !

We loved it here. Perfectly located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Very nice rooms and breakfast buffet was great.

Personnel accueillant

The AC unit or something kept making noise throughout the nights we stayed there. We couldn’t figure out where that was from. Therefore we couldn’t sleep for hours when something is beeping every couple of minutes. Other than that, the location is good and safe, room is clean.

The elevator was broken during our stay and it was an inconvenience to bring luggages down the stairs from the top floor. Other than that, the location is great and top attractions are easily accessible from the hotel.

Nuestra habitacion era no muy amplia, pero si muy comoda, el baño si era amplio, menos la ducha. Nos alojamos a comienzos de abril y aun no tenian habilitado el aire acondicionado, pero nps quejamos y lo habilitaron de una. Lo.mejor del hotel es la ubicacion, a todo el lado del rio, donde esta mucha de la.vida diurna y nocturna de Oporto. Y facil de caminar al resto de atracciones de la ciudad. Excelente hotel.

The hotel is located in an area with high people traffic so noise levels are a little higher than usual.

Nice little hotel in a perfect location for a tourist visit in Porto. Friendly and helful personel. Nice room - with quite a wiev! And a good breakfast.

The hotel was fine but let down by the lack of hot water for two of the three night stay. No offer of compensation, perhaps a free breakfast would have bee appropriate?

The locality is spot on. Right in the middle of the Ribiera district. Rooms were small, but clean plus the beds were comfy. Size doesnt matter when you are a single traveller anyway. One complaint us the the shower was cold on 2 of the mornings I stayed, which isnt good. We complained and they fixed for a bit.
