I was excited to finally stay at this Boutique Accommodation… I’ll not to it again. The two stars are for: 1 the astounding view and 2 the bed. The linen was yellowed with age and stains. The towels were the same. The bathroom was in the process of being renovated; new vanity didn’t quite fit so there are missing skirting and mismatched paint. The “inviting lounge” area is anything but. The help yourself fruit and nuts were all way past deadline date. And stools along the front bench were covered in cobwebs. What a shame …

Having booked a sea view room I was moved at the last minute to a room with a car park view.

Clean, had everything I needed. Complimentary port! Lovely facilities. Close to beach. But would have been good to have someone to greet us. At least there was clear instructions. Shower leaked and made a mess but was nice and hot. enjoyed my stay.

Quaint property with lovely views of the ocean. The hotel manager was very helpful and friendly.

After a long drive from Strahan it was such a delight to get to our room at the Masden. Had a front room with a view of the water. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with some added extras like a spa bath and microwave. Easy access, lots of street parking and little cafes to eat at close by.

Bruce is the best host! The main level ocean view room is incredible.

We loved our return visit to the Madsen at Penguin. We were ab le to stay in a room overlooking the beach and with opening window we could listen to the waves as we went to sleep. The Queen sized bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Microwave and tea making with plunger coffee available. Very close to shops, cafes and the Penguin Brewing Co. We love staying here
