We have stayed at the poplars three times now they’re nice of the style rooms and have recently been renovated. It’s very simple easy all that you need. One thing, though of all the places we stay this holiday this is the only one that didn’t have face washers

The whole place needs some care. From the pot holed drive way, to the broken pegolas in the front, water stains in room cealing, door on shower recess about to fall off, no hand soap in dispenser, freezer in fridge frosted up etc. Could be an ideal place if some effort put in.

What a find! Newly renovated, nicely furnished, very well equipped, comfortable bed, easy check in.

The rooms are clean, staff are accommodating. Have stayed a number of times now as it’s become our go to when we’re staying in the area.

Poplars is easy to find, no issues whatsoever with the room. The property, eg. the garden needs some tlc for a more pleasant visual stay, but that's by the by.

The room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable.

The bathroom plumbing was making a loud noise every 5-10 minutes. It was coming from Toilet tap and once turned off stopped it for the night. Sounded like it would suddenly try and fill all of sudden despite not being used but was quite loud and keeping us awake until we turned the tap off.

Yes parking easy. Never saw any staff. Surrounding area including lawns could be tidied up. Would make stay more welcoming.

Uncertainty about access to the property, can I turn in across traffic? Iffy. Grounds are a bit rough and ready, decidedly unsafe pergolas are not suitable for kids playing outside.

Nice nd quiet place i enjoyed.
