The picture of the room that I purchased from the Internet was not the room that I got. I purchased a king size bed and got a queen size bed. No one seemed to care. No one apologized. The only reason I picked this hotel was because they offered me a king size bed and then I never got it. The rooms are extremely small and expensive, certainly by North American standards. The hosts were friendly, but not anymore than they had to be. The main thing was it was a bait and switch operation. They advertised one thing and I got something else. Would not recommend. Would not return.

This is a clean, welcoming, friendly hotel in the market place in the heart of De Panne, and only about 10 minutes walk from the lovely sandy beach. The hotel has character and judging from the old photo of it inside is probably over 100 years old. The breakfast buffet is available from 8am to 10:30am every morning with plentiful supplies of all you would expect from a continental breakfast. The restaurant where breakfast is served is spacious and very pleasant. We were staying in the family room immediately above the entrance on the corner. While the room is small we got used to it and you have a good view over the market square. Please note that the weekly market takes place on a Saturday and the traders set up their stalls from about 5am, so if you have the windows open you may hear the noise! You may also hear if people in rooms around flush toilets or shout. But it was a great base for our stay - if you walk to the sea front you can catch the tram which takes you either along the coast or to De Panne railway station for hourly trains to Ghent and onwards. We found lots of restaurants in De Panne, and many of the buildings around date from the Art Nouveau era which gives the town a great feel.

Geweldige verblijf gehad. Ga ook meteen terug bij deze hotel als ik terug naar de Panne ga. Zeer vriendelijke medewerksters en uitbaatster. Netjes en proper. Zeer goed gelegen naar winkels/strand/parking En kindvriendelijk, ruime speelhoek en afscherming dat kleintje niet naar buiten kan zelf. Zeker een aanrader

kamer voor 4 personen, 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Badkamer was erg klein. Lichte en zonnige kamer! Bovenslaper was erg fijn voor de kinderen (al was de matras niet overal nog even stevig) Er hing in de traphal wel een onaangename geur. Ontbijt was uitgebreid, vers en lekker. Ideaal voor een weekend: kort bij de zee, op stapafstand van een halte van de kusttram.

Enorm freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer. Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Tolle Spielecke für die Kinder, somit ist ein entspanntes Frühstück garantiert...
