Great quite place, very friendly staff, clean, nice patio and pool, great room; very close to restaurants at the ocean shore. Safe area.

Breakfast was ok, staff were friendly and helpful

The rooms are fine. But Khalifa who is at the front desk in the morning made our life incredibly difficult and really put a bad taste in our mouths. We needed to switch rooms and ask front desk to move our luggage once it was ready - it was not done. We had another incident where he messed up our reservation and had to keep spending time trying to get him to fix it. He wouldn’t accept that he had made a mistake with the reservation. It is really is disappointing.

Classic, quiet, well-located hotel close to beaches and good restaurants near Almadies. Helpful, friendly staff. Peaceful garden. Some have mentioned the dirt roads, but that is typical of Dakar; the Ghana embassy residence is across the street, so it’s certainly an ok neighbourhood.

The whole place was outstanding, the room was beautiful, the pool great, and the staff were super nice. It’s also close to some beach bars in Almadies which was excellent too. I’d highly recommend!

What "stood out" about La Residence is "all of the above" - clean room, charming and helpful staff (front desk, guard, kitchen, and cleaning), amenities that provide ample space to work and/or relax indoors and outside. I have been there many times and will be back!

A great hotel, very good location, rooms were lovely and spacious. Garden and pool downstairs were also very nice. Would definitely stay here again on next trip to Dakar.

This is an amazing hotel in Dakar! Great community and close to supermarket and great restaurants ! Love this hotel and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Feels like home, rooms are big and comfortable and breakfast amazing. I didn’t use the pool but was clean!

Inte värt pengarna! Bra läge och trevlig personal. Slitet rum. Vattnet var mer eller mindre avstängd under hela vår vistelse och när den var igång så var det superdåligt tryck. Kommer inte tillbaka!

A very nice and comfortable boutique hotel, quite and extremely clean. 3 minutes to the ocean.
