Clean room

We stayed here last minute after a ferry cancellation altered our plans. It was a wonderful stay, from check in until we left. The restaurant downstairs was a huge plus. The property is absolutely beautiful! Definitely would stay here again if we travel back to Corner Brook.

A beautiful hotel

It is such a beautiful place!!! Very unique hotel! We loved it so much! Our room was spacious (if not huge), and the location is perfect! Highly recommend!

Room was clean but small as expected given the age of the building. Bed was just okay… may need new mattresses. There is an elevator for those who need it. Close to walking trails.

Found getting to the room a little tough because of how the hotel is pieced together and elevators very old

Nice clean room with a comfortable bed. We had a lovely breakfast also. Would highly recommend this hotel as a past to stay.

Everything was great. The staff were very helpful with my questions. Lots of options to eat with the main restaurant, the Bar/Lounge area and especially "The Wine Cellar", but make sure you make a reservation. The food and service were amazing. My room was always kept clean and fresh. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. We opened the window to enjoy the fresh air. Location is superb. Right in the heart of town and the start of the trail system in the back yard. The grounds were lovely. Check in time was 4 pm, which seemed a little late but worth it for a clean room. The inside was dated but it represents a grander time. Finding our way around using stairs was confusing. The elevator was needed for our 3rd floor room. We didn't eat at the dining areas. Staff did not overly educate us on the amenities and sites nearby. I guess we had to ask.

Stayed one night at this charming hotel. Maintaining the originality of the building, this is a unique place to stay if you want something different from the modern hotel room. It was very clean and our room was spacious and bright with BIG windows overlooking a treed area. Close to walking trails and all you might need during your stay in Corner Brook. Staff was very friendly and accommodated an early check in for us. Will definitely stay again if in Corner Brook!

The first impression was negative as I was charged $500 on my credit card hours before check in. This was unexpected. I found out from automated notification of all credit card transactions. When I called the hotel they claimed this was common practice to ensure payment for no-shows. However the amount exceeded the nightly charge, which would have been all that was owing. Any credit charge without advance disclosure is completely inappropriate and inconsistent with consumer protection.

A very unique stay. If you are looking to stay in a piece of history I would suggest this as the place to stay. We did not use any of the amenities or recturants but we walked the path that is around the pond a few of nights and it was a beautiful evening walk with swans and ducks to view in the lake. We were just a little disappointed in the cleanliness. Not that it was terrible but we noticed cobwebs around alot of the lights in the hotel's hall ways. All together a nice stay.

My room at the Glynmill Inn was very spacious and well appointed. The king bed was very comfortable. I was disappointed to discover a coffee mug that was stained and dirty however . My biggest disappointment was the Wine Cellar restaurant. I ordered a Ribeye and what I got was actually a boneless Rib steak , and it was not great to say the least. To be fair the entree was taken off my bill when I complained but I would much rather have enjoyed a great steak and paid for it .

Enjoyed my stay. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
