Room was dirty, carpets are disgusting, dirty bathroom with dead flies. The remote for the TV was sticky and looked terrible. Wish I could upload photos of the room. I highly recommend to go elsewhere.

Check-in says that 1 PM was there 10 minutes before gave us our keys but told us to come back after two which we could not as we were heading to work at a wedding. Room was terribly outdated and not clean. We have been to several motels throughout the years that were Older and outdated, but always clean. This was not the case. On a hot summer night air conditioner did not push any cool air out. It was basically somewhat of a fan. We placed our overnight bag on a small table as we did not want to put on the upholsters chairs and when we came to take our bags, they literally stuck to the table that’s how sticky it was.Not going back and sadly will not promote to anyone to stay there 😔

The check in was fine, the woman at the desk was lovely. The parking lot is crumbling asphalt/gravel. The rooms are wood paneling - likely original. The toilet seat had a cigarette burn on it probably a couple decades old. The bed spreads…also original. The mattress was pretty good oddly enough. The small AC unit was barely operating and super loud. No water pressure for the shower. Overall the room had a smell that was trying to be covered up by a car air freshener hanging on a light bulb suspended on the ceiling. I can’t believe the rate was $150 considering I just stayed in downtown Kingston at the Marriot for $235.

What pleasure to stay here! The owner is outgoing and bubbly. This is 1950s motor lodge that is good repair. Very family oriented (from a senior's perspective). We were in a backsie room, and felt like we we in a summer cottage.

Frontdesk person was very nice, place was right on the highways and easy to find,nice new chairs to sit outside (albeit the gravel parking area). Facility was VERY dated, but they did the best they could with what they had. There was a fridge and micro wave but no hair dryer or coffee anywhere. This would have been fine except I had been paying the same price for motels all through the UP that were much nicer and included breakfast, pool and all amenities.

Stayed here while on a fishing trip. Clean, lots of space to park trucks and boats. Friendly service.

It was a room with a bath and toilet. It served its purpose as a place to stay for the night on a trip. A handyman would have work for a month fixing up the room; holes in the wall, missing facet handle, curtains, door frame etc.

The property has not been maintained well. No upgrade have been since the 1970s. Very old and very worn. Would not recommend to anyone!

It was the dirtiest place ever. Moldy bathroom. Also the toilet hadnt been cleaned. Hair amd fresh blood I found on bed sheets, filthy bedding. I was disgusted!

Lak of up keep and maintenance to the property and building. Tarps on roof, garbage around yard.
