Kitchen was great. Beds not the most comfortable but handy to 🏝️

Booked the motel in advance for two nights when I arrived at the motel was told I would have to move rooms. The next day walked in the room with out knocking and telling us we had to move rooms and we told them we wouldn’t be moving rooms and then came back a second time and told us that are second room was ready and then told them a second time we wouldn’t be moving rooms. The next day I check my credit card to see that they have charged it twice I call and ask about and was told that they didn’t make a mistake and to check with my credit card company.

This is the 4th time staying. Went to check in for two nights and were told we had to move rooms after one night as someone else booked the room we were staying in a year ago. After trying to convey our annoyance that we had to wait around the next day and transfer our belongings we gave up and went to our room for the night. Room 19 was big with a king and two queens in an open room…different than the one bedroom with king and two queens I booked. It was frustrating that we didn’t get the room type requested AND still had to switch rooms. The next day we went to our new room on the complete opposite side of the property and it was again NOT what I booked. This time it was even smaller. Management didn’t want to hear anything we had to say but because we needed a play to stay we went about the rest of our vacation. When we got back to our room at around 230 we noticed a room three down from us had caught fire as the smell was unbearable. We then left to go grab lunch and explore. When we arrived back at 4 the occupants of that room had just arrived and were frustrated that they had not been contacted that their room had caught fire. The hotel management didn’t even bother to call 911 and were being very hush hush and shady about the whole thing. The occupants of the room told us they told her she could do laundry and they would give her a new room if she didn’t complain. Due to their less than ideal ways of handling these situations I will not be recommending this place again

Found the pool dirty! They use a robot cleaner to suck up dirt in the pool but he doesn’t watch it or even look at the pool when done and it’s not effective! Still sand and dirt all over the bottom and doesn’t clean sides of the pool where scum builds up! Rooms were not super clean, shower handle was almost falling off when took a shower

The place worked for a one night stay for our family of six. It’s in a great location. I’d search out something a little nicer and more modern next time.

Great location, short walk to beach, restaurants, and a strip mall with grocery, food and liquor store. Room was spacious, but not much storage for belongings (no dresser or closet organizer shelf’s). Having a kitchen was great with a full size fridge, but bring your own mug if you want a bigger cup of coffee than an espresso size. Courtyard was great, nice to sit at tables to play cards at night. Pool was nice and had lots of chair options.

Cleaner room and washroom

Room was clean and had a large fridge and microwave. The pool was great and the pool deck was clean and well maintained. Good location just off the strip and walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Only real issue were the beds…clean linens but the hardest mattress I’ve ever experienced so didn’t sleep very well.

Unreal location to everything Penticton has to offer. It is definitely older but staff is truly doing their best.

The bathroom wasn't very clean

What is shown in the write up is not what I got. I took pics eg; Danby fridge in a cupboard, no kitchen sink, washed and dried dishes in bathtub, no stove, had a hot plate to cook. When asked about what was advertised, the reply was not all rooms are like that. I said that was false advertisement. My first say went well in 2025 . This being my second stay will be my last unfortunately for Expedia as well The positive ; helpful staff. microwave in room, Supplied a new regular size fridge.

Overpriced, run down and dirty. Beds were comfortable, but that was it.

The buildings and the property are very old. The rooms are very small. The kitchen is poorly stocked. Utensils and pots should be replaced. The drawer for the utensils was broken. There is not enough plug-ins in the kitchen. I would say overall the owners are cheap as the TV is too small for the room. Hard to watch from a distance. There was a rolling computer chair to sit in. The room needs to be thoroughly cleaned, especially the bathroom corners. The pool did not look clean as there was a dirt ring around the top edge. They do not assign you a parking stall so you have to park a long way from your room quite often. The door lock is really hard to open. Key system is unsafe as anyone could go make copies of the keys. Poor communication from the staff. They did not tell us anything about the amenities such as where the ice machine was, barbecues on site etc.

The location can't be beat. Its close to everything. Parking was good. The room was pretty clean. The bathtub was in rough shape.

Pool was great.

We had such an amazing stay this past weekend! The location is perfect—close to everything, making it so convenient to get around. The owners are absolutely wonderful. They are so kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their guests. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had everything they needed, which made us feel right at home. On Friday night, they hosted a customer appreciation BBQ with delicious burgers, hot dogs, and drinks. It was such a thoughtful gesture and created a fun, friendly atmosphere where everyone could relax and enjoy themselves. The property was very clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone we met was incredibly friendly. The positive energy throughout our stay really stood out. We had such a great experience that we’re already planning to come back next month—and this will definitely be our go-to place whenever we visit Penticton. Highly recommend!

The property was kept clean. The only issue I experienced was noise. The building is wood-frame, so you hear everything above you. The kids waking up at 8am and running around like a pack of wild elephants wasn't fun. Hearing people stomp (not on purpose, but so loud nonetheless). It was difficult to sleep in due to the loudness of peopel walking around.
